Use Copyrighted Images?

by Long Beach Nathan 1 replies
I'm wanting to set up a site about a specific brand of watch, and one thing that I've been thinking about is this. Since most images of products are protected by copyright, I don't want to use those and risk violating that. Is there a legitimate way of obtaining product images for use on blogs and websites? Thanks!

If it is an Amazon product and you are using the Amazon feed - you are AOK. If it is a high end watch - just contact the manufacturer and tell them what you want to do.

It may take a little time but they will get back to you.

On the other hand, there are tons of sites with royalty free photos and videos. istockphoto I think is one of them. They may have that watch in their portfolio.

The last option is to get the watch and take your own photos - OR - go to a jewelry store and ask if you can take photos of one of their watches.

    There are ALWAYS solutions.
