Super Noob Question about posting youtube vids on here

So I've been trying to post youtube videos on a post for like a day and it ain't working!

I've put just the youtube video up and not the embed code.

I have automatically embed media on

It still doesn't actually pop up.

While I'm at it, how the heck do I post an embedded image on a post as well, I've used the code and html tags but it still isn't working.

Any help or direction to a helpful post would be appreciated.

In order to post a video just upload it to YouTube, copy the URL of your video from your navigation bar and insert it into your post (where the video should appear). Then enable "automatically embed media" and you're done.

About images, just upload them to a website (e.g. www.yoursite.com/images/your-image.jpg), click on the "insert image" icon and inform the URL.

      Here is my problem

I can post videos on the regular forum without a problem but for some reason when I post my youtube video on a wso it doesn't work, all I get is a link and a title of the video. I have no idea how to fix it as the wso doesn't work but the regular video posting does. Anybody else have this problem? Is it because I just copied and pasted html from my main sales page?

Just put a url of any video and it'll come up.

    EDIT:

So I wanna put this video on the thread:
I'll just paste the link in the thread and here's what I get

Maybe I know what you're talking about. The problem is that when you click "Edit" to update your thread the link is replaced with the title of the page. Instead of "http://www.youtube...." you have "You Tube - ...." as a link. If this is the case, just click "Go Advanced", make sure that "automatically embed media" is enabled, delete the link and paste it again. It should solve your problem.

I just opened up a new post on the WSO and I got the same result. The title of the video popped up which links to the youtube video but not the actual embedded video. Has anyone else had this problem?

The edit button doesn't pop up when I'm simply previewing the post. I'm crossing my fingers that the video just works otherwise I'll be out 20 bucks posting fees.

One last question. I accidentally submitted a wso yesterday which was only a draft and it was approved. If I submit the one I have now will the post that I've approved be null and void or when I pay the posting fee will the crappy draft get posted as it's in a kind of que. I can't seem to find where that post was so I can't edit it or delete it.

Every WSO you post gets its own special PayPal button in your PM box.

If you never click that button, that WSO never goes live.

If you're very paranoid, open a help desk ticket about this. Someone on staff will help.

I do have a youtube video in my wso post (the only one I have - see my sig.)

It is true, I added it later but even after the post went public - when I paid the fee - I could edit it, e.g. adding 'testimonials' from posts in the thread etc.
Is it because I just copied and pasted html from my main sales page?
Most likely. HTML is off by default - you should copy only the text itself and format it with the tools you have in the advanced posting area.
