Trouble Embedding Youtube Videos In Wordpress Blog

I have done this before numerous times and have not had any problems. I have tried to copy and paste the embedding code for a few youtube videos and when I make a new blog post all I see is the HTML code. Usually I can just paste the html code in my blog post and the video will automatically show up.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

    You may be pasting the code into the 'visual' side of the post instead of the 'html' side. And once you paste it in there, it is best not to flip back and forth.

    Have you done this using the HTML tab for the post editor? It could be something to do with the theme, or a plugin.

    I rarely even use the WYSIWYG editor anymore. I've completely gone over to the code style.
