I need your input.. re: Design Services

Hi y'all.

I'm currently in the process of re-structuring my design-business a bit..
In the future, i will cut down the amount of services i offer and specialize in only two or three products (e.g. headers and logos).
My clients are mostly companies and individual webmasters with a high budget.

There's one thing i am uncertain about and perhaps you can help me finding an answer..

Let's assume you have a successful website (let's just say it's a blog), but you want to spice it up a little bit / take it to the next level, would you:

1) get a completely new blog-design (in the $1200 - $2500 range)
2) get a mascot / cartoon design (in the $350 - $550 range)

    wow the price is quite high end..

    if i want to spice it it, i will do a re design following a theme of my choice that suits the future expansion that i plan for my website, and its not necessarily a cartoon theme.

    I just got out of the web design and development business - it depends on what you think the content is worth. there are alot of free templates out there.

    No devan, i am not saying your price is expansive or unreasonable..Only you know the worth of your own time, and if your clients are happy, who am i to judge.. I am nt saying anything about it.. Just said out loud what i was thinking.. :-)
