"Reported Site Attack" Firefox Warning - Other sites on same IP malilcious

Hi,

Has any one ever had this warning from Firefox when they try to access their cpanel for their site?

"Reported Site Attack!" red warning page - with a link to the google diagnostic page for the IP - listing malicious software on the IP.

In my case, it appears that other sites on my IP with hostgator are hosting malicious software.

Hostgator are looking into it for me.

Does anyone have experience of this?

I was thinking this could harm my site in Google's eyes by association. Wondering whether other warriors get their own dedicated IP to host their site because of issues like this?

    Hey, thanks for the reply Lou.

    I hope Hostgator close the site - it is actually named on the Google warning page, so I hope they can sort this out soon.

    I guess it is just a piece of bad luck to be hosted on the same IP as a baddie
