I think that fairly soon my blog will be big enough to where I can go to advertisors and businesses and arrange a few ad hoc dealings. However, I of course need to prove that my visitors and traffic are what I say they are

What is the best way to do that?

I have Google Analytics installed on my site, for example, but how can they see that? Or is there something, like say alexa, that I can use?

You can make them a user with limited access to your analytics account so they an actually view it directly from the source, or you can just do screen shots, but a lot of people don't trust screen shots because they are easily doctored in image editing programs like photoshop.

Great! I will check that out (regarding Analytics' users).

You can make custom reports that illustrate exactly who your visitor is in google analytics and let them view that.

For example, say you have a high amount of 35+ men from xyz city that remain on the site for x minutes and complete a specific goal 35% of the time and reached your site by searching xyz term. Get as detailed as you can and then find the company looking for that target. They will kill to access that group.

I have no agenda but to help those in the same situation. This I feel will pay the bills.
