I was definitely lacking focus, and trying too many things at one time.

Worst mistake #1: Trying to innovate too long and not seeing the value of modeling the success of others earlier.

Worst mistake #2: Hiding in product development instead of making offers.

Worst mistake #3: Thinking in ego terms like mistake/failure/success and not seeing every result from any action worth a test as something to learn from.

Accepting advice on forums and blogs from people who only pretended to know what they were talking about. What they said seemed logical, so I followed that and made very, very, VERY little money - just like them, I suppose (at least I can take comfort in that, eh?).

Seriously, though: bad advice is the biggest obstacle faced by beginners. That and, ahem, laziness.

    Your worst mistake
LOL...I think I just made it a little while ago.

I was sending my per-launch members an email telling what they need to do and in the process I left out one word. "NOT"

There was one line in the email that should have said,
" I'm not trying to be an ass about it...lol"

and instead it ended up going out saying this,
    "
I'm trying to be an ass about it...lol"

It didn't take long for one of the members to point it out to me!

    FYI,
    Have a Great Day!

        @Thomas,

I also got married. Not saying that was a mistake because I have a
wonderful wife, two great kids and two grand children I adore.

It's just amazing to me that the marriage lasted as long as it has. There has
been alot of give and take to make it work but it was well worth it.

When we got married I was 17yrs old and she was 18yrs old. <-cradle robber! lol

Mistake #1: Taking actual advice from forums (no offense)

Seriously, if people took more advice from people who are
actually successful, instead of pretenders and wannabe's
who want to make you believe they know what they're
talking about...the world would be a better place, lo.

Mistake #2: Not being stubbron ENOUGH!

It's easy to be gullible in a situation where your not exp.

Sometimes, you have to put on a hard hat, and reject
offers you get to JV, partner, etc. Some would say you
could be turning people down who could one day be the
next bill gates...and there are ways to screen for those
people...but to take advice from anyone who says they
    know what they're talking about.

    That was my mistake.

Mistake #3: Focusing on making money, not building a
    business.

Ironically, I make more money anyway when I focus on
building a business instead of a "one hit wonder" (i.e.
pretend to be a little girl on facebook for CPA sales, spamming
craigslist, spamming twitter, etc -- some of which are
    actual products in the WSO).

Mistake Nr 1: Spent several thousand dollars on licenses for Dan Kennedy products that I quickly learned, after spending several more thousand dollars building a large all singing all dancing ecommerse website to sell said products, on that they were available on eBay (all over eBay) for below wholesale prices. (shaking head!)

Mistake Nr 2: Spending too much time and money on website development (for above products) and too little on where and how to get traffic. "Getting The Kart Ahead Of The Horse)
