I am trying to create a good site that people will not buy from but also enjoy visiting.

I am not selling anything yet because I am trying to get ranked on google with articles.

please tell me if you think what you think of the content and the design.

It's a pretty good set up although the gray background makes the site feel a bit bland overall. Maybe putting a video in the side bar somewhere would be helpful as I didn't expect to find videos there

What keywords are you trying to target (just curious from the domain name). I can see where you're going with this but it does need some spicing up. Definitely change the color scheme as it looks like a graveyard...don't take it personally, just my 2 cents worth. I'm assuming you're also going to be adding a bunch more content on the sidebars? Keep it up as I'm curious to see where this will go.

I have a green theme but it looks like more of a nature theme. there is a cluttered site that I found, I think mine looks better but it obviously filled has more traffic leehayward.com

      the keywords are

      "get ripped"
      "natural bodybuilding"
      arm exercises

Your content is good. I have an interest in this subject so I would like to read your articles.

Your design is OK as far as navigation and where things are put but the design, is lacking. I would Highly recommend getting a logo and decorative name or title. If you can't do that then change the title color and font against the background. That color of red glares with the gray background. Contrast is important especially with titles. When you have a neutral toned background you need to use high-contrast colors or put a drop-shadow behind your text.

More graphics would be nice as well. Some kind of photo or thumbnail to go with each article. Content is King so keep posting.

Along the lines of what Andrew said, I think the pic needs to be replaced. The guy in the pic is in great shape and ripped but the word "hardcore" in your URL doesn't seem to fit with the pic. The model seems to have more of a swimmer's body rather than that of a hardcore bodybuilder.

I also like this topic! I typically frequent body building dot com for inspiration, reviews, etc. Very good niche!!
