Ezinearticles problem - Articles not listing properly

I've noticed something when is earch for my article under the chosen keywords in google.

When i find it, it is listed with the keyword i chose and the title of the article is there, but when i click the link it takes me to a page listing "recently approved articles".

Why would THAT page be listed for the keyword i want and not the ACTUAL article? The strange thing is i was getting views and URLclicks for a bunch of my articles and they have no stopped completely.

What's going on?

Will this affect the actual article?

Have you contacted Ezine Articles to see what they think? It could be a hiccup in their system.... they are getting huge these days.

Actually, I noticed this today as well. I was looking at people who published my articles and they gave out the summary and the link back was to the category page, not my article.

The sad thing is, these people have 1st page ranks. Some were even above my own ezinearticles article.

I'm going to check on this again over the weekend. Maybe the publishers are just doing it for SEO. It doesn't seem like it, but who knows.

That is because the Google bot visited the recently published articles page when your article was there...

It is a bitch when that happens, but there is nothing EZA can do about it, it's a naturally occuring thing with the indexing of pages that are frequently updated.. when there is a new index for that page, your actual article will feature in it's own right, if it is written well of course.

Right now your article will be indexed twice, once as a result on the EZA homepage and another time for your actual article, but the EZA homepage will beat your article for a while because it has a higher authority than the page your article features on

    JayXtreme,

I just checked this with 1 of my articles that's currently on the homepage. It's listed normally in google. It doesn't go to the homepage. It goes right to the article.

But then again, this has nothing to do with what I wrote since I was talking about people republishing my articles and the link going to the homepage and not the article's page.

You misunderstood what I said... your article will have 2 listings.. one which will unfortunately lead you to the homepage of EZA..and one directly to the article..

Only one of these will show in the G index at any one time
