My method to MMO and it always works
Long story but I lost a bunch of weight so I'm selling a "lot" of shorts that are too big for me. As of this writing the auction has 41 minutes and is up to $26.30 USD. Most of the shorts are no-name except for 2 that are Dickies. All are used in good condition. So all I did was lay each one out on the floor and took front/back pics, uploaded pics to photobucket and launched auction with no reserve and buyer pays fixed (flat rate) shipping. That's it, that's all I did.
If I didn't take action, those shorts would still be on a shelf in my closet doing nothing but taking up space. Yes, I know I'm not getting what I originally paid for them BUT these shorts were already written off as useless since they didn't fit any more. I've met people before that wanted to sell their bowling ball, boots, etc and they told me they want to get at least $xx amount for them. That is mistake #1! If you have an item, whatever it is, doing nothing more than taking up space in your home, sell it on eBay!! Your choice is to let it keep sitting there for another year or turn it into $$ for dinner, gas, a movie, a new shirt, etc. Of course I don't condone selling your baby's 1st shoes or other important "life" items but you know what I'm saying!
How can you make this a viable source of income? Well, now I sort of know what shorts sell for so I can go to yard sales in my area and buy 'em up cheap and sell 'em high! I've been told (haven't done it yet) that clothes with tags on them sell easily. Maybe I'll hit a yard sale this summer and give it a shot.
I don't expect the auction to go much higher than it is now but I'll post the end price in about an hour. Now get out there and take action!!!!
