There are lots of ways to get started with internet marketing but there really is not a "best way". Review the different types of internet marketing options, select one that appeals strongly to you and then focus 100% of your efforts on it. Any other approach is doomed to failure.

Thank you, but I hear every now and then (do you say it this way? :p) that not every "internet marketing option" is working. If I Google "internet marketing options", how do I know which method is not a scam and surely works?

Your best option is to start your education right here on this forum, rather than searching Google. There are tons of newbie discussions going on here all time and members do post quite a few of their success stories.

The first thing you need to decide is what you plan to sell (affiliate products, your own info products, physical goods, CPA, etc). This will whittle down the range of IM approaches to something you can focus on, once you have made your decision.

Naturally as a CPA marketer I think thats a great place to start for newbies because its very simple and there are ways to promote CPA offers without having to be technologically or advanced in internet acumen.

The CPA sub forum has great free info, so just soak it up and use it. You dont need to purchase products to promote CPA offers.

Freelancing is a good way to make a few extra bucks as listed above.

You can also promote traditional products (not just CPA offers) through stuff like video marketing, article marketing, offline marketing etc completely free.

Yes, but there is a method involded where you have to pay for advertising (PPC) and I don't want to gamble

(well, you can call it like that)
Fact is that I want to learn how to make money online and don't want to invest in something upfront, because there are some ways to make money without spending money at the beginning, such as aflate marketing, which sounds kinda interesting actually.

Anyway, I'm going to puck one method, put it into practice and post my expierces in this topic, okay? More tips are always more than welcome. The more we learn from eachother, the more we can earn.

In all honesty, read up on everything here at the forum and try to find some things that interest you. After you gain some sort of general knowledge, I'd highly recommend coughing up the $37 one-time fee to become a member of the War Room. You'll find some KILLER stuff inside. If you want to learn how to make money on the internet, then you need to find ONE way how to make money online and then duplicate it.

There are TONS of ways to make money online. You can do blogging. You can do PPC. You can do article writing. You can do videos. You can do all sorts of stuff.
And I’m pretty sure that each of those methods work. But to really make money online, I suggest you to FOCUS on ONE METHOD and stick to it.

Don’t jump around because the more you jump around, the less you will make. That’s because it can take YEARS to learn how to make money with ONE method. So if you want to make money on the internet, then I highly suggest you to STICK to one method.

…So which one should you stick to? I recommend you stick to the one that works for you. Some people are better at PPC than others. Some people prefer article marketing over other methods. Some people prefer to sell ebooks on clickbank over selling physical products on amazon. Some people like to sell their own products over selling other people’s products.

If you are starting out, try out a lot of the different methods. Then, take a step back and observe which is really doing well over others. Whatever that method is, I recommend you to stick to it.

When I first started making money online, I spent ages reading e-books and forums looking for tips and advice. I then realized that to make money you must take action in what you learn, and your hard work will repay you.

And what other people have said, find a working method and then duplicate it. Outsource if you need to.

You should try to decide what kind of marketing you are interested in. For example:

Article Marketing
Social Media
PPC (Paid Per Click)
Adwords
Blogging
And many more.

These are just some examples of marketing that you need to start doing some research on.

You also need to try and figure out how you would like to make your income online? Do you want to have your own product or sale someone elses as an affiliate? Your income situation will also determine this deccesion.

Do your research and no that if you are not careful you could find yourself reading for a living trying to make a decision on what to do so you need to just pick something and learn as you go...good luck to you!

You should just tap into what you are good at and then see how others use that same subject and make money online, take notes, map it out, be willing to pay for what it takes, and stick with it. Some people make money accidentally right away but most succeed because they stick with it.

I'm thinking it doesn't work to good to tell the forum you want their help to make money but then specify the only ways the teacher can teach.

Not that I don't understand you point of view, that's fair, but this is the place to get the information that many have and do pay for.

Some things I've learned so far based on the comments:
- Pick one model which you can use to make money online and stick with it. Don't try something else till you have made a decent amount of money with it. FOCUS!
- You can learn a lot by reading some topics here on warriorforum
- Take notes to learn things faster
- affiliate marketing (promoting e-books and stuff from other webmasters), bum marketing, forum marketing (promote a product in your signature while participating in a forum + you can learn a lot about a market while doing that) and blogging are great income models that anyone can use without to have to pay for an e-book first.

I will start this weekend with one model and will keep you updated on how things are going. In the meantime, keep posting interesting tips, advises and info. It would be more than welcome. Thank you. (all the knowledge that I gain here, I can bypass to other newbies)

I am not started at the moment yet, but I think that I'll begin with study the clickbank.com page (= affiliate marketing), then try to make a start online.
But, I am not sure yet. Maybe will try to start with another model. I will keep you guys updated on how things are going!

Learning Internet Marketing with only free information = 6 to 12 months before seeing any real profit

Paying for some quality Internet Education and having a marketing budget to treat this like a business = 3 to 6 months before seeing any real profit

I have been in this industry full time since 2007, the above information is just my opinion and what I have observed over the past 3 years.

Helly everyone,

I am going to make money online with forum marketing. I will use Clickbank and Commission Junction. First, I will try to get some knowledge about these two networks first, read some articles, watch some videos etc. Then, I will choose a product to promote, register on different relevant forums and participate in the community. I will place my relevant affiliate link into my signature.
