Question About Aweber Lists

Is there a way I can set Aweber to not allow people to sign up for multiple lists of mine.

I have it set to remove them from the prospect list and put them on the customer list when they purchase... but when they go and sign up for the prospect list again is there a way to block that?

I use aweber and I think they have this covered.

check with them directly but I am sure they have got this covered

You can blacklist specific addresses from joining your list, but in your example, I don't know of any way to do that automatically (unless it's been added to the higher-priced service level). The system doesn't know what is a prospect list or customer list or any other type of list, just that you have a rule set up that says remove from list B when they sign up for list A.

Sounds like you are looking for a rule like don't let them sign up for a list they've been removed from.

I sure wouldn't want aweber preventing that as a rule.

Is it really a problem- someone signing up for the prospect list again? Do many people do that, and what's the issue?

What Ken may be talking about is that if you broadcast to multiple lists at the same time, aweber will only send each address one copy of the message, even if it is on several lists.
