Confusion About Article Sites Other Than EZA and How Many You Should Submit To

How many article directories should a person consider submitting his articles to after EZA?

I've gotten 40 articles approved by EZA, and I've already submitted them to these directories:

articlesbase.com
goarticles.com
amazines.com
articlesashboard.com
ideamarketers.com
articlealley.com
articlecity.com

Should this suffice?

Now, reading other threads on this board, it seemed to me that 10 article directories is the ideal number you should be submitting your articles to other than EZA. Is that true?

I've read some other sites that people have recommended like searchwarp.com, but from what I read, searchwarp frowns upon using your articles to promote an affiliate product, and also requires that you actively participate in their community in order to post an article, but who has time for that when there other sites where you don't have to go through all the hassle?

Also, I've noticed that ArticleSet.com won't let me submit my article because I kept on getting an "error" that said my article name is too similar to another article in its database no matter how many times I changed the title. After getting the same error 7 or 8 times, I said screw it and moved on. Has anybody encountered the same problem w/ this site?

Is hubpages a good place to submit your articles?

Some feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, If I can, I certainly do more than ten. They not only might provide some traffic, they provide backlinks. The more backlinks the higher your site will move up the search engine listings.

    Hand submit your articles to about 5-10 of the main article directories then follow-up with these steps:

    1 - Mass submission with Articlebot

    2 - Submission with Directorybot

    3 - Make videos and submit with Videobot

    4 - Make use of Rssbot

    5 - Make use of Socialbot

    Love the bots....they increase the ROI from your article marketing efforts.

    Long story short I'd call it spam. Submitting to 100 directories is just a waste of time.

    Thanks a lot bro. phew!.....I was starting to get depressed about having to submit to all these 100s of article directories. Do I have to change anything when I'm submitting to directories other than EZA or can I keep the same article without revising it?

    True, stick through the best and "working" ones when it comes to giving you targeted and potential traffic. Your list is already enough so continue submitting to those directories and I'm sure you'll get backlinks easily as well as you increase your article activity on these active websites.

    I've never really submitted anywhere else besides Ezine and Buzzle and it'd be interesting to see if its worth the hassle.

      Well, I do get some traffic from other sites like ideaMarketers, articlesbase, etc. I think they've worked for rising my rank with google for my keyword. I went from being on page 31 (sheesh) to now being on page 4. I still got some ways to go but I'm steadily plugging away.

    I submit to 10 directories regularly; but, that said, I track my sales (CBSaleTracker) and know that 90% of my sales come from 3 article directories.

    One reason why I advocate trying to get your content out to as many places as possible is because you never know when an obscure article directory site will send that one visitor that will absolutely buy your product.

    Before mass submission software it was always a time factor in terms of was it worth the time to submit an article outside of the top 10 directories,. Now, with so many good software programs able to deliver your content to hundreds of places in a short amount of time it becomes worth it to occupy as much virtual real estate as possible with your content.

    I know many don't agree with me, but I've truly only focused on EZA for all my article marketing, and success with article marketing has never really been an issue for me as a result.

      They (EZA) have certainly been the center pole for my article marketing profit tent but I do add other tent stakes (directories) in the building process in order to make a stronger structure.
