Do you have a blog? What is your routine after each post?

Hey guys,

I am curious to hear about what you feel works each time you do a blog post to get the maximum value from it?

After writing a blogpost, do you use a ping service? Do you develop some inbound links for it? Do you announce it on twitter? Do you do anything else?

I think this would be valuable for a lot of folks out there.

Here is what I do after each blog post: (I am not saying its the right way or best way, its just the way I do it, since now I don't have much time left to do more)

1- using pingler I ping the post (it pings it to a hundred or so ping services. You can add your own list of ping services if you have)

2- Using onlywire I bookmark the post (bookmarks to most social bookmarking sites(about 50 or so)

3- I manually bookmark it on xomba (onlywire doesn't have this one. I have been getting a lot of traffic and good results from xomba, plus you can earn ad sense revenue from your bookmarks on xomba)

4- Using Tweetmeme (wp plug-in) I tweet the post.

5- After a few days, I submit the same article to a few good dofollow article directories(some times with a little change and a linkback to the original post).

6- When I do have more time, I comment on blogs that have the commenetlove plug-in, It will automatically build a backlink to the post.

I know there are more things one can do, but for me with the limited time that I have now (since I work offline about 14 hurs a day), I think its good enough.

Hope this can give you some ideas. Good luck.

Hey thanks for the reply, I was using onlywire for a while but I don't think I got that many links. I need to do some investigation. What has your experience been with it?

You know, I tell myself even if it creates a few links, its worth the few seconds it takes to bookmark with onlywhire. And like other warriors have said, you can use automation tools that will speed the process up and make it even faster.

I have lots of things to do after posting my blog. First, I put the script of onlywire for bookmarking. Then I need to put "read more" so that it will shrink. Next, I submit them to social bookmarking websites such as digg and delicious. Likewise, I also submit them to online directories like DMOZ. Lastly, I let my friends review my blog.

Hi, I haven't really study it to compare the results from doing these thing vs not doing it. But here is what I can tell you that could give you some ideas about how it has worked for me:

I am in one of the most competitive niches (make money online), I started my blog a few months ago, and until hat time I had no idea how SEO works or how to even set up a blog. But I started reading and learning specially from warrior forum. And here is how I rank for a few big and competitive keywords in online money making niche on Google SERP : ( I am not bragging here, just trying to give others an idea of how it can work)

"best ways to make money online" #6 and #7
        "make money online" #68
        "making money online" #42

I know that 68 or 42 isn't that good, but when you think about how big and competitive online money making niche is, than you know its big for a few months old blog. But, keep in mind I have done a lot of article marketing and link building as well. But, one thing I want you to know is that I haven't spend a dime on these things. Everything I did, was free. Of course if you have the money it might help, but you dont necessarily need to spend money to achieve these things.

The fact is that you can do this man, it takes some time and hardwork, but you can do this. Dont over think it, trust yourself and just start working on it. You may not see results over night, but dont be discouraged, you will see result sooner or later. And dont buy in all the reports and ebooks that tell you they will give you the secrets and this and that. There is no secret, its as simple as writing quality content, building links and doing this over and over again. You dont need any money to do this. You just have to commit and DO IT.

I hope this answered your questions. Please feel free to email me if you have any question that I could help you with. Good luck.

Using OnlyWire manually could take a lot of your time. I use OnlyWire autoposter to let it automatically distributing my every new blog post to 20 social bookmarking websites.

Additionally, I also have the TweetMeme plugin placed beside my posts for me to tweet it automatically and also for my readers and followers to retweet it once they read on my new post. I also share my posts (since I usually mix in text and video) to video sharing websites such as YouTube, Vimeo, Blip.Tv, Viddler, and so forth as it gets my videos indexed easily in search engines. In Facebook, I use RSS graffiti to enhance streaming of my posts within my networks.

    I hope this helps!

      *Ping it with pingler
*Social bookmarking like Twitter, Digg, Delicious, Reddit ect.
      *Submit RSS
*Rewrite the article and submit it to Ezine and other article sites for backlinks.
*Turn it into a PDF and submit it to Scribd, DocStoc, Google Docs.

You should see some nice traffic starting to come in slowly, Rinse and Repeat.

      Works for me!
