Article marketing question?

I have been reading the threads on article marketing and some peoples results do have my attention. However, doing the writing myself or submitting/guest blogging 100-200 articles is not for me. So I want to hire someone.

1) Has anyone hired someone to do this before and gotten good results (provide traffic and article numbers so we understand what you feel is good results.).

2) Any advice on hiring someone to do this, budget, what to look for/ask. Should you hire in a two part step. Hire a writer then hire a submitted.

3) how many places should the person submit it to, or only have them do guest post submits to big blogs?

4) does the articles promote your product or does the author byline provide the traffic.

Thanks for the info!

Well when i first started i picked 25 best sites our there with good alexa and link qualities i would recommend using these sites .. My personal list

    EzineArticles.com Author's Area
Free Articles Directory | Submit Articles - ArticlesBase.com
    Article Search Engine Directory: GoArticles.com
    http://www.articledashboard.com/
Submit articles or find free articles
    IdeaMarketers | free content directory
    https://secure.amazines.com/
    ArticleSnatch Free Article Directory
Free Articles for reprint - Website Content and Newsletter article directory
ABC Article Directory | Articles |Submit Articles | Article Search Engine | Article Directory
    http://www.thecontentcorner.com/
    Article Wisdom
Article Directory Submission | Submit Quality Original Articles

These approve quite fast. You could hire a writer who writes 100 words for 1 $ and you could even using automated softwares for articles . My 57 articles have resulted in 30k views and 3100 url Clicks [Just on Ezine] .. I could have recieved more but i did not do proper research on selecting the keywords for the topics.. You could receive much if you do so. Hope my reply helps

    4) The by-line provides the traffic...if the article was good enough to make the reader want more information on the subject by the author and the call to action in the by-line works.

At least, that's my take on it.

    Alright, thanks!

I'm thinking what I will do is buy articles from ArticleMe authors (Yes I own that site), then use eLance to get someone to submit them to said directories and blogs.

From their maybe I can link up to other sites like squidoo that has a lens from articles we already put out and build up all their ranking while feeding people back to the main site.

From the way people talk about their article marketing it sounds like it is non-stop process, thus that gives me the feeling the content is short lived in the search engines?

What is your article publication rate per day/week or month?

I got mixed results, good and bad. Because people who're doing this usually have tons of work. It's likely they use automation software to improve the turnover rate. But they may overlook potential problems such as software errors.

I think the better way to spend money is to hire someone to rewrite and proofread your article.

Mass distribution could create unforeseen problems. I could go into details but it would take up lots of time for me to post here.

I think you'd do better to be a columnist for a few major news or magazine sites.

It depends on the reach. Are you distributing articles to people who've already bought something in the niche? Or, to people who just want to be educated with more info?

Interesting... If I understand this, the article marketing community is split on using directories over guest or columnist posting.

Personally I see creating duplicate content a problem, and spinning articles only create non-since articles no one wants to read.

I guess if one wanted to do the directory submit right, you would need one unique article for each directory. Pack them with keywords, and let the search engines do their thing.

My advice for someone that hasn't started Article Marketing yet...

      1. Information does not equal sales - Emotion equals sales. So, if you are going to outsource your writing, make sure the person that is writing for you can write in a tone that is suitable to the niche.

      2. Focus on the directories that you know can deliver traffic in a given niche. You can tell this just by looking at which directories/properties are on the first page of Google for some of the better keywords in the niche.

      3. Don't focus solely on long tail keywords - You will be surprised how often, you can get an article ranked highly for a keyword that might seem unattainable due to the authority of a few directories.

      4. Stagger article submissions - If you have 10 articles and are submitting to 1 or 2 directories, try to only submit 2-3 articles a day so you aren't competing with yourself from within the article directories internal structure.

      5. If you are just starting, jump in head first in 4 or 5 niches, focusing on only one niche likely won't bring you the results you are looking for.

One more place to think about submitting to would be the article directories that pay you for your articles, like Associated Content and eHow.

This way you benefit from the $$ earned from the articles as well as from whatever product/service you are promoting with the articles.

        It's a win/win situation!

Interesting advice. I never really think about the internal traffic of any of these sites.

What I did was, I choose 5 writers form warriors from hire and asked them to provide me with a sample articles and then I just chose the best one to do the job and I have been using him ever since.

About hiring a submitter, I would just use article submission service to do that. If you hire somebody to submit your articles they most likely use submission service anyway and just charge you more.

Article marketing is a type of advertising in which businesses write short articles related to their respective industry. These articles are made available for distribution and publication in the marketplace. Article marketing empowers you to pre-sell your visitors effectively.

You've been reading threads on article marketing? OK, sure. Why not?

You want to hire someone? Really? For real?

You've started 3 threads; 2 of them "just happen" to be about article marketing or article directories, and gee... you "just happen" to own an article directory, and whoa... there's a link to it in your sig.

    Sheer coincidence, I'm sure.
