I have a signature line question

Hi

Can we link to anything in our sig line? As long as it's not an affiliate?

I want to link to this:




They've created a yuo tube video to try get some of that google charity grant money- and would love to help them increase thier traffic. it's a charity I completely believe in.

Can I?

I did search- but I'm a complete nincompoop when it comes to this sort of thing!

    In the strictest sense you are only allowed to link to your own site. One might argue that Allen links to kiva, however it's his forum and he can link where he wants to. Even to my site, (please, please)

    Under the rules you could certainly create a page about the charity, make it a subdomain so the name could appear in your sig file and embed the video or link to it from your page.

    You could always put up a free blogger blog, imbed your video, and link to that. Then you could get the word out between now and when hostgator gets you sorted out.

    I might be wrong (I usually am), but as Allen himself is pretty passionate about charities, he may bend the rules for you on this occasion as you're not acually getting anything from the sig
