Just Like MTM, I'm Going To Make It After All
Lots of people don't have a strategy or business plan, and I understand that you must have the end in site before you really start anything. But just like I might have a great plan to cross the British Channel, I'm probably not going to go very far without a pretty good boat -the technical stuff -to get me across. What I'm trying to say is that I finally found somebody that is teaching me how to build that boat. And what a boat I'm beginning to build. I wish I had done this years ago rather than hoping the next new shiny product would get me there.
I can't tell you how proud it made me feel last night when I was able to put Adsense code on a blog of mine. I know to all you expereinced warriors out there, it might sound like my goals are set pretty low, but I have to believe that there are many others out there that are in the same "boat" as I am. They get the big picture, it's doing all the things like building websites, blogs, adding the Adsense, info capture pages, etc. that is standing in their way. And I'm not going to spent $1997 to find out how to Outsource it all!!!
If any of you are in the same situation I was in before I found "my personal guru" - thanks, B - don't give up hope. Look on the WF to see if you can find someone that you can pay to help you learn the technical aspects of the business. You will feel so happy and relieved that you are able to understand and do all the things that you need to do from a technical point of view even if you do decide to outsource. I can't even begin to tell you how good it feels.
I have a long way to go to finish the boat; it's taken a lot of hard work, but I'm going to make it after all!
Thanks for listening,
Barbara
