Question on videos, bookmarking, youtube

Hi guys,

I would like to the answer to the following questions:

1. When we send links to bookmarking pages, does Google automatically index them?

2. How often should we send the same link/video/squeeze page to these sites?

I might have some more questions on the subject later on... thanks!

    The answer to your 1st question is yes. Google loves these types of site.

    Not sure on the second question but i mostly use bookmarking sites when i write a new post on my blog.

    Someone else im sure will answer your second question

    answer to your second question depends on how competitive is the keyword that you are targeting.

    If its a long tail keyword with not much competition and you simply using bookmarking as an indexing strategy, just bookmarking your video/squeeze page once across the top 10-15 bookmarking sites would be fine.

    However to increase the value and ranking, you want to get other people to bookmark your video/squeeze. This way if you get 10 people to bookmark your video/squeeze page on 10 bookmarking sites you would 100 backlinks.

    If you want to push some limits you can try software like SE Nuke. And you shouldn't be solely relying on bookmarking for your backlinks.
