If you download files like pdf & zip files, I need your help
If you download pdf and zip files, especially if you are either very organized or very organizationally challenged, I need your help. Here's what I'm asking:
1) run my free trial program (see sig) that finds and lists selected files, such as pdf and zip files; note how many files were found and how long it took, which the program will tell you
2) then, click a check box that enables searching inside zip files and
3) run the program again, seeing how many compressed pdf files it finds; again, note how many were found and how long it took
4) reply how many files were found and how long it took
(the file count and elapsed time are reported by the program)
You'll get an insight into what files you've got and how many.
You can also do steps 1 through 4 with files other than just pdf and zip.
If you like, you can also check for duplicate files (which I'll describe how to do later, just in case you don't figure out how on your own).
