Anyone else get screwed by inetglobaldotcom?

Help, Google disabled my AdSense account, and I think it's because my site found itself on inetglobal(dot)com. This is a ponzi scheme that recruits people to sign up for a "consultant" account for $59, upload their sites into the system, and surf the web for 8 minutes a day.

The thing is, I DID NOT sign up for this service and I DON'T KNOW how my site got entered into the system (my GetClicky stats show a lot of incoming hits from surfdotinetdotglobaldotcom) and from countries including China, Canada, UK, Russian Federation, Iran, Ukraine.

The company was raided by the Feds recently; just Google the company name (can't post URLs in the forum right now).

What scares me is I think a competitor might have submitted my site to this scam, knowing it would generate a lot of fraudulent clicks on my AdSense and Google would shut me down. I want to tell Google this is not fair! Their rules have a loophole that allows competitors to get your site penalized. Google will not disclose the reason for shutting you down, citing their need to protect their proprietary technology. And once you're banned, you cannot be reinstated.

Everyone check your weblogs/tracking software for the inetglobal.com URL; you are at risk of getting your AdSense account deactivated!!!

I've been seeing some traffic to my site lately from the site you mention. I still can't figure out what the deal is and how people are getting to my site from surf.inetglobal.com.

I don't have any Adsense ads on it so I'm not too worried about it.

    That might explain a lot.

Sorry to hear about your Adsense account, that really sucks. Unfortunately, Google probably won't care that its not your fault. I had an Adwords account banned back in 2006 because I didn't know what I was doing & Google wouldn't tell me what the problem was.

So it came down to guessing, re-running the ad, get it cancelled, guess some more, re-run, repeat over & over again. Even their tech support couldn't find any problems with the ads or the site. Eventually they banned my account for good & that was that... End of the line.

I've noticed a lot of Inetglobal traffic to my XinglaPro sales page in the past couple of months. I just assumed it was an affiliate who bought a ton of useless junk traffic in an effort to crank their sales.

Luckily, I'm not running Adsense on this site, so like Christophe Young, I haven't worried about it.

After reading your post though, I'll be watching for that type of traffic on some of my other sites. That type of 'loophole' is pretty disturbing.

How in the world is that funny? The OP lost a revenue stream. It is never funny when some one loses a revenue stream.
