Pop Ups Pop Overs and Peel pages

Been off the scene for a while but had a lightning bolt hit me out of the blue about an idea for a replacement for Pop ups and pop overs.

Before i decide is its worth proceeding with I would like to get the updated general concencus on the current views on Pop ups etc

Id there a market for a replacement for these intrusive pop ups whats the view currently on these pop ups.

I think my idea is so simple but arnt the best ideas like that

    What is the current replacement of the pop up or pop under did some searchs here but nothing comes up

    Pop Ups are just annoying.

    I use pop unders and it got a 20% increase of subscribers
    into one of my sites

    But i would give another type of ''pop '' ago if there
    was one just to see how well it converts.

      Its amazing just how ridiculous the subconcious mind is, I have not been on this site for a long while been busy recovering from a bad motorcycle accident and I don't even know why but all of a sudden a light bulb went off and i had this idea pop in my head about pop ups of all things LOL

      I know what it was triggered by but that will be the basis of the idea so cant say but its great that the link was made in the subconcious mind.

      I have spent the last hour or so searching on pop ups and realize they are not well looked upon and I think this simple idea will compel people to take the action required.

      Other than a pop under or a peel page is there any other thing on the market to replace the pop up, ? just want to see what the competition will be.

      then it will be just to develop this which I don't think will be too difficult

    Actually, there is a HUGE market in the "make money online" niche. But a lot of them have already been invented, which actually works in your favour.

    They are called hover-ads or peel-ads ... and work extremely well. Theres also Exit-Grabbers which are quiet effective for exit surveys and last-ditch attempts. People buy these so there's definitely money in it.
