Bloody Vikings! and The Net of the Living Dead

Yesterday, I was in the house for most of the day
and decided to step out to get a breath of fresh
air.

So, I caught the "L" to one of the Borders bookstores
in my city.

Once I made it there; I walked upstairs and to the back
of the store, next to the restrooms, where the sales and
marketing books are located.

I scanned the titles, picking one out and flipping through it
before shelfing it and choosing another whose title peaked
my interest.

Then there it was.

The spine read, Online Marketing Superstars: Success Secrets
of the Online Marketing Superstars

Copyright 2005

I read the names of each chapter's author

Mitch Meyerson - Author of book and guest on Oprah
Mark Victor Hansen
Robert Allen
Jay Conrad Levinson
Marlon Sanders
David Garfinkel
Jimmy D. Brown
Joe Vitale
Maria Veloso
Yanik Silver
Robert W. Bell (a commander in the 1shoppingcart fort)
Declan Dunn (who claims to have coined the term super affiliate)

There were other contributing authors but one name, in particular,
caught my eye.

Paul Myers

He came from a different angle than the others.
The title of his chapter:

Overcoming Spam and Other Pitfalls of Emailing Marketing

This is the second time I came across him in a book.
The other time was in a marketing reference book that
was published back in the 90's, I think. It listed (one of)
his offline business(es). I knew it was him because of the
PA. That time I was at our public library, last year, flipping
through some books in the marketing section.

Another Warrior that a saw "offline" was Ron Douglas.

That was when he appeared on the Wendy Williams show.

I was getting ready to go to sleep one night last summer when
Wendy said that Ron Douglas was going to join them when the show
came back from break.

It didn't ring any bells until the show actually came back and I
saw his face.

I was like, "I'm a member of the same forum that he is."

So, what's the point of this thread?

What's the lesson that you can take and turn into a million dollars?

There isn't one. I don't think.

It's just pretty cool that we have access to dozens of people on this
forum that are accomplishing amazing things.

People that you can have discussions with and that will respond
to one of your pm's or e-mails if it is appropriate.

I don't participate in discussions but I do follow them.
I'm an introvert to the core.

Anyway, it's just a breath of fresh air to be able to mingle with a group
of people who aren't afraid to dream and then have the audacity,
imagination, and discipline to bring them into reality.
