Hey Warriors,

It took me 3 hours on Friday to figure this out and my outsource team had to change a bunch of our video descriptions, but it can be done.

All you have to do is have less then 120 characters in order to have your link be clickable.

Are you talking about the new "I will show just the whole HTML code" kind of description in Youtube? I mean, what is that, out of the blue?

Just to clarify, this is a known issue at Youtube and is not permanent.

When I go to my video the link in the description looks like wrong and not like it should - YouTube Help

So changing your description now, especially to 120 characters or less is not good for keyword discovery, and if you have like 150 videos like I do, that is kind of a hurdle.

If you really want your link to look better during this tech issue I would suggest either

1 -Remove the "http://" from your URL for the time being.
2- Make your first sentence say something like "read below" or to that effect because when you drop down the expanded menu, the link appears correct.
3- Add the full URL with your description below the preview area.

Of course Youtube will take their sweet time fixing this, so hope it gets corrected soon.

Yeah Mukul, I went thru this with another issue during the recent makeover at Youtube. They don't really respond very quickly, but you can get some fairly reliable info from regular posters in the Youtube forums.

Anyway, as predicted, the problem was not officially recognized, but now seems to be fixed. They must have been working on it.
