Database Issue With My Blog

Warriors,

I keep receiving the following error message as it relates to my blog perhaps someone has experienced a similar problem and can offer a solution.
“Error establishing a database connection”

I’m not sure what exactly caused this, as I haven’t made any modifications, and have no earthly idea how to fix it. I have contacted Hostgator about it and am awaiting a response. This is in regards to a Wordpress blog all of my other Hostgator sites work fine.

    Can you still login to your cpanel? If you have other websites (with database connection) on the same hosting, sare they still working fine?

    Too many reasons that can cause this issue. Will need to investigate.

    If you have done nothing and the site used to work, maybe Hostgator has changed some of the setting that cause this issue. They should be able to "fish" that out quite fast.

    Problem solved. It was merely an issue with the password to the database somehow being changed although, I don’t for the life of me know how this happened. When I created an entered a new password for the database everything worked fine. Thanks for your assistance.
