Article Marketing earnings down? Try this.
But often times, the merchant you are referring to changes their sales page, offer, design, headline, or any number of variables that can hurt your sales referral rate.
If you're earnings are down, try redirecting your traffic to another merchant offer. Heck, even if your earnings are strong, it's always a good idea to test other offers you think could genuinely help your readers.
So if you aren't already using redirects, now is the time to start. Redirects allow you to change where you're sending your traffic without having to change articles all over the web.
There is a lot of software and tools out their to help you do this efficiently.
A simple and free way is just to create a basic html page and redirect to the offer page.
So create a simple page and name it something you'll remember (example: acnecure.html)
Then drop the following code into your page in before the </head> tag.
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" Content="0; URL=http://www.AffiliateLinkHere.com">
Obviously you'll have to change the URL in the meta tag above with your affiliate link.
Then refer traffic in your articles to this new page.
This time saver has worked for me for a long time. You can use it so test competing offers and make sure your links are getting you the best conversions possible.
