iPowerweb is very good. Quality must be the first.

First, the best place to check around for answers to that is the Web Hosting Talk
        Forum, at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1
It has a lot of members who are web hosts themselves, and at least most of the
bigger hosting companies keep an eye on it and answer if someone grouches about
        something they are doing.

And I would recommend that you check out information there about the DirectAdmin
control panel. It was a surprise to me to find out how well it is thought of at WHT
after never seeing it mentioned here. One of the hosting providers there mentioned
that all of his customers came from cpanel, and none of them would go back to it.
It doesn't sound like he is all that big a host if he knows that about all his customers,
but that is still a pretty powerful statement. It was a couple of years ago that I was
checking that out at WHT and in one thread comparing the 2, support was about
evenly split. Since DA is newer, it has come up with that support in less time.

They do have a good search function there so if you do get your choices down to
a few, you can get a lot of comments about any hosting company there. I did
most of my searching there a while ago, so to be sure of anything I've said here,
you might want to do another search now.

Out of the ones who do offer the DA panel, my 2 final choices were between
uberhost.net and hostpc.com Uberhost has the best traffic spike policy I have
ever seen and will not shut your site down if it hits Digg, and has a few options
to deal with high traffic. Hostgator will shut a site down in that situation.
Uberhost also do have cpanel as an option for people who want it. I went with
hostpc which has the annual plan you mentioned, now $27 a year for unlimited
domains and Installatron which compares with the cpanel fantastico and include
simple free installs of Wordpress, Simple Machines Forums, etc.

So the links are http://uberhost.net and http://hostpc.com
direct links, and hostpc.com (affiliate link).

        Have fun with all that!

Edit: I'm not sure how all the salesmanship got into the direct links, so I'm going to
try changing them into the more direct form without a separate display. It also
came into the WHT link and I am certainly not trying to sell that.

Just my 2cent.. Get a hosting company with 24/7 support so that you can get help intimidate when your site encounter any problems. Also ensure that the company offers Cpanel for easy install with lots of features and help online. The cheapest with these features are 3ix.org I am no way affiliate with them..

I suggest going with a host who offers cPanel. IPower and 1and1 don't.
