I haven't used it personally but I have a friend that puts it to use and he claims it has produced traffic for him.

Hi, Youtube is still a great way to get traffic, I know there is a lot of hype about facebook but, youtube does a good job. Effective video distribution is a great way to spread the word!

I tried it, with a whole bunch of different videos on very different subjects, but got a poor response on everything . . . I get better results per time-spent, doing article marketing.

yes i use videos and this is going to be around for years to come as people will trust you more if they can see you on a screen etc etc.

Yes, and I'll keep saying this...as more people are accessing online through mobile products, iPhones, iPads, etc., videos are much more easier and fun to view plus share with others.

Video marketing when done properly (NOT leeching off other peoples videos by downloading them, putting your link in it, the re-upload it 100 times and spamming them) can yield far superior results than search engine or ppc. Its main advantage is that you can deliver your content in a much more engaging manner and build trust at the same time.

The trick is to structure your videos in such a way that the viewer has to visit your website, to find out more information.

Example would be, your including a joke in a video presentation about dog training, but before you get to the punchline, the video ends and tells the viewer if they want to hear it, they need to visit your website.

Use your creativity.

The other good thing about youtube is that it gets looked upon favourably by Google because it is one of their properties.
