I am looking for a good website builder. I have XsitePro 2 and it is very good. What do you Warriors use?

    Hey Steven,

Maybe you could use Wordpress? Best of both worlds: easy to skin/edit and SEO powerful.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

Wordpress is really good too. I need to make a sales page so I am looking for a website builder. Thanks for the recommendation anyway.

To answer the question best... would have to have more information....what are you looking to build, and what kind of skills do you have, and how particular are you about graphics, layout....?

I have tried many builders....and if you need a full blown site, I think its faster and cheaper to hire a professional developer... if you factor in the learning curve, lack of skill on your first site, as well as tricks you may not know that can impact Seo, loading speed, browser compatibility.... just my 2 cents

That said here is one that I like for building simple sales page... but could be used for anything web....

Kompozer - great free wysiwyg web building tool. Its pretty much like building a site in word... but has preview features, lets you see code...

Agree that wordpress can be a good platform... but themes vary alot. If you want to do a lot of customization and don't know css... this is going to be near impossible and very frustrating. I have bought Headway Theme, and looked into another paid one whose name escapes me at the moment - both of which are supposed to be 'easy to customize'... and frankly... I found them frustrating and not worth the learning curve.

just had warrior Ryan Reynolds/sudodevelopment build me a site and I think he did a great job! You can have a look plainjanesmarketing.com

I used Frontpage for about 6 years, but switched over to XsitePro a couple of months back. What a difference that made (for the better)! Sorry I didn't make the switch years ago.

Ah XSitePro sucks to the infinite degree. You're better off using templates from around the web or Wordpress.

        For me:

A combination of Notepad++, Photoshop & Wordpress does all I need.

I used Bebiz to build one of my sites. It's a complete web builder with a sales page template built in and keyword research tool. Pretty awesome stuff and the site ranks very well in the search engines.

It's more geared toward newbies though as you don't have to touch any code.

    Hey Steven!

Maybe it's because I just don't know any better, but I seem to get along well with Komposer. So far, it does everything I need or want it to do, and you can download for free.

Just a different opinion than the above...

Seems as though you answered your own question.

If you want to create a sales page, you've probably already got the tool you need.

I am about as non tech of a guy as you can get. I have used wordpress and done pretty well with it and it seems that most of the warriors are agreeing.
I was flowing right along with a WSO the other day and loving it till it said that if you are wanting to make any changes to a wordpress platformed website that it is best to use Komposer. I thinking to myself "Damn, another learning curve" so it brought my flow to a screeching halt.
Now I read hear that warriors are saying that it is fairly easy to use so this gives me hope that I can get the flow going again.
Damn Learning Curves!" is something that I need to get out of my thinking.
