Any tips on how to create a web presence?!?

Hey Warriors

I was just wondering if any warriors had a tips to share about creating a web presence. How to be recognized and contribute your share of info (free and priced) to the world wide web.

I was opening an email from Frank Kern the other day and I'm trying to remember how I heard about him and how I found out how HUGE he really was. How did he do it...he could have easily made his online millions and no one know him, but people do know him! I want to know why and how.

He is known because he doesn't want to be known.

If you're trying hard to impress people, it's not going to work.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Start a blog in a niche you are passionate about (or highly interested in), and also sign up for an autoresponder service to start gathering emails from the beginning.

    2. Post high quality articles on YOUR blog on a regular basis.

    3. Post high quality articles on OTHER people's blog in the form of guest posts on a regular basis.

    4. Join a social network (such as Twitter), set up your profile to let everyone know what you're all about and what your website has to offer, and start getting to know more and more people in your niche.

    5. [optional but recommended] Take part in article marketing to help promote your stuff and "get it out there".

I briefly mentioned building your list from the beginning, but I'll say it again because it is VERY important. As you are driving traffic to your blog, you want to retain that traffic and get repeat visitors by capturing their email address.

The best way to do it is to write a short, useful report (yet another way to get your word out) and offer it for free in exchange for their first name and email address.

Now, every six days or so, send them a link + description of a high quality article posted to your blog. To keep them conditioned to buying from you, send them a promotion every 3rd mailer or so (make sure it's a high quality, reputable product!).

The fact that 2 out of 3 emails will be high quality FREE value will prevent your list from getting offended by your promotions (in fact, they'll appreciate them from you) and the six day schedule will keep them from forgetting about you, as well as keep them from getting annoyed from too many emails (an email every six days is very unobtrusive).

Using the strategy above, you'll not only be driving high quality traffic to your blog (your flagship content) every day, but you'll be retaining a large amount of those visitors so that means repeat traffic (which is way more valuable than "hit and run" first time visitors). The email strategy I described will keep your following loyal, and keep your unsubscribes/spam complaints low.

It's the same strategy I use to make money online and it works amazing... and it's a great way to get your writings "out there" for the world to see.
