In the power of prayer, I do, and I have a request to make.

My Uncle Bob, is very ill, and has been diagnosed with a short time to live.

I am very close to him and he has always been there for me no matter what.
He lives in Arizona, although we are 2000 miles apart we have and always will be very close.

It has been about 4-5 years since I last seen him and was looking forward to visiting him in the spring of 2009, and have him meet my son, and my next child due within the next couple of weeks, he was/is looking forward to that. He has supported me in whatever I have done. Uncle Bob has taken me in many times in the past when My parents where unable to due to financial reasons. he has often been the rock that I could lean on when noone else was there. He has been my uncle, a father figure, a brother, and most importantly a friend that loves everyone he has come into contact with unconditionally. his family has grown through adoptions and taking in those less unfortunate and he has never asked for a handout as long as I can remember.

Now I want to be there for him, As he has for me. I am unable to see himas much as I would like to but fnancially cant make it. i am not asking for anything more than a prayer.

I would like to ask for you to pray for him and his family that he can fight his illness and pull through. I know I pray for him night and day and not an hour goes through my mind that I dont Think of him.

he has taught me alot about dealing with people in life and in business.

The first is when you meet someone,to treat them not as a customer or a stranger but as a friend, that you have not seen in a long time. eventually they come back and they become a friend both personally and professionally.

Another thing that I remember him telling me years ago when I was around 11-12 yrs old, ( he was teaching me to paint with oils at the time)

" don't give up in whatever you do, because the minute you give up, you will never be able to take back those words, 'I give up' it plants a seed that can grow and lie dormant, and spring back to bite you in your ass.
if you feel that you are not doing well step back and look at what you have done. take a break and do something else, because in time you will figure out what went wrong, you can always repaint your canvas and start over, but the minute you throw your canvas away, it is gone forever"

he could take the worst of people and turn it into a positive everytime.
He has and always will be a source of great strength for me.

So please take a minute or two of your day and say a prayer for him and his family.

Thank you

Jeremy

Jeremy, I'm not a praying person. No beliefs in any superior beings.

However, I do believe in putting out good vibes and Karma, so I'll send some over your way.

      Thank you Kevin,

I also meant to say that even if you do not believe in prayer, Karma and good energy is universal!

Jeremy, what a wonderful quote. Must be that I do that internally without ever seeing it in words like that. It actually explains a LOT, and no better way to explain it. Simply wonderful.

Sincerely hoping the best for your Uncle Bob. Prayers from our family to yours. We had a hard blow this year when we lost my husband's mother, and I don't think I realized how close we were until she was gone. It was like losing one of my own.

    So let's do this.

Think with me here... what can you sell, what can you do right now... to make enough money to go see him right now? Make sure you plan out how much you need for the whole family (if your wife can go - but she's so close to delivery looks like, that she might not be able...) Maybe you and your son can go and let her stay home to relax before the next round of diapers.

Shoot - then again, never know if she'll go early, late - unless c-section...

I'm so sorry - but I'm thinking either prayers will help pull him through until you can go see him, or you can make enough cash to go now.

Only you guys can decide - but if you DO decide you want to go NOW - then take the figure you need and work backwards. How much of what can you sell that will make that figure in 24-48 hours.

I'd be happy to help as much as I can - small base of subscribers - but real decent people.

Let me know if you need help - and I'll keep your family in our prayers. Like Kevin, I pray to "other sources" but it still seems to be "all good!"

    Thanks!

Thanks for your reply Michelle, It is kind of up in the air right now whether I should go out there or not.

I do not want to leave my girlfriend alone, even though our doctor says she has a couple of weeks left til anything will happen.

Just got done talking to my grandma and the word is that my uncle illness (which is cancer) has spread to his brain.

My sister is offering to possibly pay for a airline ticket for a possible funeral, That is nice of her, ( I geuss thats what I get for giving 10% percent of all I make online to her sons trust fund, (he is a a child with autism, his father passed away when he was a year and a half) and I also give an additional 10% to her autism support group for a future group home.)

I don't want her to do that because of the financial burden.

      I am stubborn like that.

I have to play this one by ear, I hope to know more later this evening.

      Jeremy

Thanks to everyone that replied with your repsonse I appreciate it!

        Aww man...

Ok, let me know Jeremy - I know what it's like to "ask" or "accept" something from other people - don't like it either - but I've grown enough to know when it's OK to ask for help, and it's OK to accept help - where I NEVER would before.

Must be something that comes with age... who knows.

Maybe I now realize that I do a lot to help others, and sometimes it's ok to accept the help from someone else - because that my friend is Karma. You might help someone get a blog up, or help with some graphics - with no charge, and the next thing you know someone else appears to help you when you are stuck. You may be down and out, or just need to know how to put a header on that dang blog - but SOMEONE will appear to help.

Karma at it's best. The hard part is accepting what others will do for you, without charge, and without asking anything in return.

You just pass it on, friend.

        Thanks!

            Jeremy -

I'm not a religious person any more (recovering catholic), but I am a spiritual person and a 2nd degree Reiki practitioner.

I will send Energy to your uncle so that the Universe will bring him peace, whether he recovers or not.

He will be in our thought tonight as we do our meditation.

Peace be with you as well and dwell in the higher places all your life!

Putting your goals in writing is the first step to see them manifest. When you opened up to the forum, you opened up to the creative power that makes things happen. Our thoughts are the most powerful tool in the Universe. It's what makes us the most powerful creatures in the Universe. We choose what we think about and what we think about we attract. Continue to think and confess what you want in life and not what you getting and magic begins to happen. Let the hidden powers of the Universe do its job and you will see miracles. We do not get health and abundance because we ask for it but when we believe and claim it is already ours. There is some basic stuff you can download free at The Master Secret Members Area that will help you see this law of attraction.

I firmly believe in the power of prayer and you/your uncle/your sweetie/your offspring---ALL of you are now in those of my wife and myself. Yet I need to vote GO NOW!!! If you wait for a funeral you will be able to "visit" with your uncle but it would be a one-way visit. The funeral is for those who stay, not for the departed. I think that if you do not take any opportunity to go now you will relive this time over and over in your life. If I go on any more I Will be on a sermon and wrong forum for that.
Go my friend---visit; laugh; cry; just sit and be quiet-----BUT GO!!!

I want to thank everyone that responded with well wishes and thoughts.

I have an update on my uncle, apparently his doctors Accidently Od'ed him on his pain meds. theydropped the dosage and he came out of it.

Unfortunately his condition is terminal, And from what my cousin says he has upwards 6 months.

My cousin has offered to buy me a plane ticket to go see him, (he also wouldn't take no for an answer!) so after my son is born (sometime Within 2 weeks.) Me and him will be heading out to see my uncle.

On a brighter note, My uncle is in high spirits and is going home as he does not want to pass in the hospital, he is a strong man, and I look forward to seeing him one last time.

Thanks again for all your thoughts!
                        my family appreciate it.

                          Hi Jeremy,

Prayers is a done deal - that's the easy part. My additional prayer is for the source of the answer to that prayer to be obvious.

Other than prayer, please let me know what else you need. I know how it is to not as for "charity" so I won't offer anything smacking of that. However, I've seen your talent, as many of us have. I'd be more than happy to help you put together an offer to help take the pressure off. Sure you've got a ticket but you've also got a baby on the way and other responsibilties.

We can trade resources. Or trade with someone else here. There's plenty of talent available. Let this be a wakeup call so you never again need hesitate to come to the aide to someone who needs you.

I'm willing to help and I'm sure I'm not alone here.

                          God bless,

                            Andy,
Thanks For your offer of help, and others that have offered too!
Believe me That if there is something that I need help with you will be the first to know.

I do try help others as much as I can not only through this forum but in my "physical" life also. I can honestly say i probably extend my hand for others more often then I look for a helping hand, as I was raised to work for everything that I want. Also to help those less fortunate for me was something that was instilled in me at young age. I would rather go without then to see someone else struggle. But I also do not believe in a constant give/take there has to be balance. (learn to fish saying, is one of my favorite sayings)

With that being said I return to you all my thanks and prayers and karma go out to you also!

Jeremy, my prayers are with you and your uncle.

Don't give up hope. Miracles DO happen. I have seen them personally.

My mother was dying and they called me to the hospital to let me know.
I was just sitting there waiting for the end.

That was about 3 years ago.

Today she is 82 years old. She's not all that well but she's still with us
in spite of what everybody thought.

                              So never give up hope.

                                Steven,
One thing I do have is strong faith, it is something that has always stayed with me.

My uncle is ready to go, he also is not going without a fight.
He understands the reality of what is happening but he has also
is taking care of things to make sure his family is taken care of.

I know that when my time comes I wish that I am half as strong as he is.

So yes I do keep faith, and I do believe in miracles!
                                Jeremy

I just got the news that My uncle Bob has passed away.
I am in a small state of shock, if you want to call it that.

Not feeling anything right now, as expected when hearing something like this.

I wasn't able to get out there to see him, I have no regrets in that matter.
I do hope to get out for the funeral. somehow.

amazing the highs and lows felt these past couple of weeks from the birth of my second son to this.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers and karma sent this way and for him.

                                  Jeremy
