I planing on registering a website after the keyword that I'll be going for but in the google keyword tool would you go after the exact or phrase keywords? For some reason the exact keywords have alot more searches when you select the 'exact" but some keywords get tons of more searches after you select "phrase" please help what do I do.. Thank you!

The only one that means anything to me is 'exact'.

you have a better picture basing your decisions on exact keyword, if its those "not enough data" i wouldn't go for it.

      Pana,

A phrase keyword could be something like: make money online

A person who searches for: Can I make friends online with no money
will be included in the number of phrase searches.

To target the exact person who searches for make money online you have to use exact

Yes I understand that.. but for example lets take anti snore.. would your site still appear on tops if you just optimizing for anti snore and whenever some one is searching for anti snore solutions or best anti snore remedies? Will search engines place you on tops if you have planty of backlinks? thank you..

You wondered why Google showed more search results when using broad match vs exact match - Craig illustrated that very nicely for you.

As for registering a domain name and creating your pages - You base all your work on exact match
Look at your research - your exact match results are what you should consider when determining if the search term is viable.
You could possibly rank for the anti snore solutions or best anti snore BUT your best way to do it would be to create a page on your site devoted to those specific keyword phrases.

Once again go view even those other phrases in exact match to determine if they get enough search results to make it worthwhile building the site

The other thing is making sure there are enough advertisers if you are using adsense or enough products in that particular niche period for you to make money from.
