Hello all! New guy here...

Well let me start off by saying how wonderful WF has been to read through and gain a knowledge base in IM. So thanks to all the great posters out there!

Ok, so here is my story. About 4 days ago my good buddy calls me up and asked if I had a couple hours to spare because he has someone that would like to talk to me about my financial situation. I kind of chuckled and said "okay what could this be about"? But being the good friend that I am I said "sure I'll be over in a bit"? So when I arrive I see this guy sitting in a chair with slicked back hair and laminate cut outs of products he is selling. I'm like oh great what did I get myself into...

First thing Fonzie (I think his name was Rod but I like Fonzie better) asks is "would you like to make extra money every month"? And of course I answer yes who wouldn't! Well long story short he was promoting Primerica which I had no clue about until I came home and researched. After all of my research and seriously considering Primerica's MLM program, I found a guy by the name of Stephen Pierce. Then found out what affiliate marketing was all about. This sounded more like of my cup of tea as I'm already an Internet junkie plus I wouldn't have to go up to complete strangers and talk about products that I don't believe in.

WOW is this a lot of information to take in! The last 3 days have been an information overload and I think my girlfriend is ready to kick my butt lol. I have been in the computer room studying for hours on end! I really enjoy learning new things. I'm on day 13 of the 30 day challenge in a span of 2 days. I woke up this morning and the first thing I do is go to the computer room and start learning more!

Although I know I will probably have to repeat the 30 day challenge again, this is so interesting I can't stop thinking about the potential of this really changing my life if I stick with it and don't give up. I could have easily bought 20 ebooks by now because of my interest with IM but I had to tell my self NO! Finish the 30 day challenge before you buy anything.

I can already tell my weak point is going to be writing articles. I have a lot to build on and it's going to be a while before I feel comfortable building a site. I like to have the knowledge base in place before jumping into something and getting frustrated.

I think I'm going in the right direction but I don't want to get burned out since I am spending so much time learning. I'm looking for good advice for a newbie like me! So if you have any shoot it my way. I look forward to being a part of this forum for many years to come.

P.S This post was out of the ordinary for me as I'm normally the guy who will read forums but never post. I have realized I need to step out of the box and try new things, well here is step 1.
