MY FIRST POST! Need Help To Monetize My 50 Aged Domain Names /With Great Traffic

Please Take A Look At My Site.Have I Been Ripped Off? This is my first venture online , and I have bought a website (Pagerankarticle.com) that is part of a co-op under Launchpressrelease.com .
I have 50 .com domain names in the Country /R&B music category.
These are well aged , nearly 12 months , and get great traffic .
My problem is how to either
1. Sell the traffic or
2. market the article Marketing side of the site or
3. Sell the domains
4. Monetize the site with Adsense?
My biggest problem is that the person who I bought the site from nearly 12 months ago , basically will not reply to emails ...Instant Messaging or phone , after making promises in the beginning to help out.
I put that down to experience, and would be appreciative of any assistance I can get from other Warriors.
Thanks in advance people.......
HELP!
Nifty.

Hi there. I also bought into this same co-op recently, launchpressrelease.com. The person who I bought it from almost immediately fell off the face of the earth once I paid him my money. Did you get the "list" of domains to buy from him? He supposedly has this list of domains that you buy and then you age them and pagerank them on your site for 45 days and then you sell them to a seller that has already been set up to buy these from you. Is this the deal you got? I'm just curious how all this also works and how you were stuck with your domains for one year. I have an idea as to what to do with these domains if you can't unload them. PM me and we can share info. Thanks.

One option is to park them somewhere like parked.com

Yes that's true, but then how and to who do you sell them to after 45 days of being parked and pageranked? how do you find sellers for these domains?

    Hello Nifty,

I came across your post while conducting many studies and research on the art of domaining, and I have a pretty clear cut idea of what to do with your domain names. I am in no way affiliated with launchpressrelease.com however Matt the owner of the site does have a great idea here and great statistics backing him (I know I almost purchased from him myself however conducted HEAVY research before doing so, in case of any scams or rip offs) and let me tell you that he is in good runnings with Alexa, Google, etc. I have personally spoken to him as well. However I believe the main reason he is not supporting anyone as he said he would, is due to his hectic schedule, while speaking to him, he disclosed to me other endeavors he pursues and yes he STILL does work as an employee at the same time, I think if I remember correctly he said something about an employee at MTV??

However back to my point, and I would like to provide you with further instructions and details on what to do with your .com names. (However I'm a brand new member and the system is not allowing me to post my email in here since I don't have over 15 posts). Is there a way for me to contact you so I can provide you with instructions and advice on what you can/should do with your domains? Please post back at your earliest convenience. Thank You!

I guess the OP's expired domain is a pretty fair indication that this was a scam... that, and the person who sells this "program" not responding to emails once a sale is made ... I would steer clear of this "deal".

There's no doubt in my mind that was SBS's intent in resurrecting this post. That's why I chimed in ... to dispel S's BS, just for anyone who might be green enough to believe that crapola. lol

Hey! I am sorry to hear you are stuck with 50 domains. I bought into the launchpressrelease.com technology and I couldn't be happier. I dealt with Matt Smith and he has guided me through the entire domain selling process. I had bought 510 domains in the flowers category and he sold all of them for me. I can't complain and I am making fantastic money. He is a very busy man, which makes him rather difficult to get a hold of, however he responds to calls, e-mails and instant messages.

Do these sites have any pagerank? If so why not set up 10 sites on a wordpress platform, get some free and paid hosting for the sites, and set up the sites as a paid blog network, they pay you a monthy fee, you give them login details, and they can then post there articles and get backlinks from a site with good pr.

    • If your 50 websites have great traffic under music niche then you must monetize them by amazon affiliates, adsense, etc. You can even sell your own composed music under that category, downloadable MP3, etc. There are great ideas which you can find for free to monetize all your sites!

        Hey,

Not to revive a dead thread (looks like it's inevitable now, huh?), but I had to chime in.

I've dealt with Matt Smith personally before. I first met him at Yanik Silver's Underground 5 in 2009. He was presenting a pitch on Domain Flipping.

We bought into his package and went down to San Antonio to attend the seminar.

Long story short, Matt's a very charismatic speaker, the training was what he said it would be, the software worked well, the after-purchase support left a lot to be desired as Matt only had one guy working on the portal for it. There were some initial problems with it due to this.

        BUT.

We did manage to flip several domains!

We sold a couple for around $100, and one for over $450. We made back the cost of the seminar, I think (can't remember the cost, but since it was a UG5 promo, I remember it was real cheap).

More importantly, it opened my eyes, like the Warrior Forum has over the past couple of years, to new ways of making money online and in organizing my life in general (such as how to think like an opportunist and entrepreneur, try new things, how to avoid scams, etc.)

Interestingly enough, I stumbled on this thread because, at my current job (manager of SEO for a large web design/SEM company--Thank you IM and Warrior Forum experience!!) the executives decided they wanted to get into domain flipping for a # of domains they're sitting on. Well, guess who just happens to have a little bit of experience in that? ;-)

Now, Matt's program has made me a bit more valuable to the company, and for that I'm grateful. Taken along with everything else I learned from the offliners, Yanik and the other "gurus", etc., I can say definitely that spending money and time on their products has lead me to this position and I am making money directly from that knowledge gained.

Back to the subject at hand, I was hoping someone here could point me in the direction of some of the domain and site flipping forums so that I could observe and learn more for this current assignment. If any one would be so kind as to do so, please let me know.

        Thanks!
