XSitePro2 Experts Please - How Fast Can You Put Up A Mini Site?

If the template is good to go, you have 4 pages of content on hand, and can configure for SEO in your sleep, how fast can you launch a site? Seriously?
I want to hear from you.

Sue, if you have everything on hand and all that's required is a tweak and an upload, it only takes a few minutes. Seriously.

I used XsitePro for a long time before now using
wordpress. Even if I have to use it now, it won't
take me more than FEW minutes to do this. Yes,
Xsitepro is still the best out there, after wordpress
of course, because of the many templates that
    wordpress now has.

      Yep. A matter of minutes.

      As long as:

You have your headers ready (if you're using them)

You can use your existing TOS, contact and privacy pages

You have your host details set up (and the domain name has propagated)

You don't have to research extra keywords

If you have everything ready, then it takes as long as it takes to copy-and-paste everything into XSP and click the upload button.

    A max of 10 min.

I own XsitePro v2 as well, but most of the sites I owned are using Wordpress now.

I agree, I also use WordPress alot more because I can make unique templates using Artisteer in seconds.

WordPress is so much easier to use than a traditional HTML site. Plus you can update the text easier.

Yeh, but it's not like you have to edit HTML or anything with Xsitepro either. It's a WYSIWYG editor so it's as simple as you can get.

I know everyone keeps telling me how easy and quick XSP is, and I have used WP for three years (but it has it's drawbacks), but I am getting bogged down. I have a template, tried to edit the title, and the header bar disappeared. I know I will learn it in time, but as I am trying to automate, I really do want to outsource this, at least for a couple of months. Seriously.
Would someone be willing to pump these out for me? I have the hosting, domains, keywords, content, template, everything......
Okay, the truth is all my WP adsense sites got scrambled by the hosting company when I had them transferred from Hostgator, so I have purchased a hosting account with a new company and want to start fresh. Yes I will go back and try to rescue the remaining mess sometime, but it wouldn't have happened if my sites were XSP.
I just want to get some success under my belt again by outsourcing all the things that could 'go wrong' till I get my confidence back.
I know it's easy - but know one seems to want to be my virtual assistant. Can someone quote me on the job?

          Sue,

Don't give up just yet.. couple of things

          1) onh your WP sites do you still have the sites and the DB's? If so then it would not be that hard putting them back up

          2) as far as XSP you have to give it a chance Either read over the manual or go here:
Home - XsitePro2 Made Easy - Build Profit Pulling Websites With Ease - No Manual Required! -
Jim has a good detailed site here in an 'all video site'. I believe that if you give it a chance, XSP will be really easy for you.

Everyone on this thread has said the same thing. If you have all the content then yes, sites go up in minutes, (5 to 15) depending on once skill and how much they want to nit pick over a site.

Also the more you use it the faster it will become for you.

          3) now if you want a quote then please tell us how many sites you need to create. I am sure you have already received PM's over this. If you are more specific you will get more.

But I am holding my ground in stating give it "The old college try" and you will be happy you did. But really read up or watch the vids.

          I hope this helps,

          Kevin

Thanks guys, you are all very encouraging.
I am going through the XSP tutorial workbook at the moment, but it uses a 'from scratch' approach, not the template, and editing the template was where I fell down so far.
I will persevere and I will try that link - thanks.
While I am educating myself, I would still like to get some sites up and running through an outsourcer. I can't explain why, besides having limited time, but I know that having them up and running will motivate me to continue and not give up.
Yes, I still have the WP sites and the databases (I think - I'm not techie), but when you type in one url, a different one comes up. That's what I mean by scrambled. The host is not helping me, and I don't know how to tell what part of the backup belongs to what site (if that makes sense....)

I have 3 sites ready to build right now on XSP.
            Any offers?

You might want to obtain the required amount of posts so that you can pm and then add some additional means for WF members to contact you such as Skype, IM, etc.

Next, maybe put a request in Warriors For Hire section. But don't take that step until you have enough posts or you will have a hard time being reached and have a hard time reaching others.

True, but then you have to reupload all of the files. Not a huge deal, I just prefer WordPress alot more!

Sue - I can help you build a few sites with X-site Pro (but don't want to leave my email address here in the forum. So I create a throwaway gmail address so that you can contact me. Give me a shout at yummyicecreams@gmail.com then we can discuss everything.

Hope your serious because I did a complete site for another guy in the forum and when it was finished he did'nt respond! When you email me I will give you links to my existing sites so that you can see if you like the work I do!

In the meantime I had the same problem when I started out - you type in one domain name then another one comes up. I fixed it by registering my main domain and just add-on the other domain. So when you go to the publishing details section in X-site Pro for the main domain the info you must put in is as follows:

You get this info when you create your FTP account.

Domain Name - www.yourdomainname.com (or whatever .org.net etc)
    Home Directory - leave blank

ftp server - ftp.yourdomainname.com (or org.net etc - without the www in front)
ftp directory - public_html (exactly like this) the _ is next to the plus key and you
    press shift and the _

ftp username - your username from your hosting account
ftp password - your password from your hosting account

Then on the left hand corner you will see "test ftp connection" click and see if you connect to your host - then hit publish!

For your second add on domain the publishing details must be as follows:

exactly the same as above but for your new domain name
    but where they say

ftp directory - public_html/yourdomainname (without the www and without
    .com/org/net)

    "test ftp connection" and publish!

Hope this helps - if you still struggle let me know and I'll help you out!
