Hey Warriors-
I'm finally going to get an Iphone with the OS 4 comes out this summer. Please recommend to me some of your favorite apps for getting things done when away from the computer?

Thanks.

Jesse

My wife just downloaded an app on hers that has the top 100 songs for any year. Awesome for bringing back memories. (nothing to do with your question)

Well theres an app to monitor your clickbank balances which is handy if your out and about and you like to keep an eye on your millionaire status .

Oh and there's also an Admob app if your into mobile PPC though I must admit that I found this a bit dodgy so download at your own risk...

Might also be a google analytics app if I remember rightly, though I never looked at it.

Am sure there are going to be lots more but they're good for starters.

You might want to wait until this next model is released
Then again with Walmart slashing the price for the current model
to only $97.00 you may want to but now!

Here's some useful IM-related apps I have on my iPhone:

FTPOnTheGo - allows me to edit web pages on the go from
my iPhone. This is especially useful for minor editing of web
pages if I'm away from the home office.

iMindMap - Great Mind Mapping application for generating
ideas and creating plans for projects, etc.

Tweetie - A clean interface for Twitter to make it easier to
follow happenings on Twitter. is another useful
      app too.

Dropbox - To make it easy to transfer files between my PC
      and iPhone.

Other useful apps include WordPress, Facebook, TweetDeck
Skype, and WunderRadio (you can listen to any radio station
      in the world on that).

      Dedicated to your success,

When you get your phone use the apps app and search for what you need or what interests you. There are so many out there no one could list them all here. BTW I love my iphone. I use it all the time for many things. I can blog or check stats while waiting in line at the grocery or doctor's office. There is a site where you pay a one-time fee and have access to hundreds of downloads. PM me if interested. Good Luck!

Get the Dragon Dictation App if you write any kind of content. When I'm on the go I will dictate an article or two then e-mail it to one of our staff writers. I write it, they edit it, and my VA puts it up on our blog(s) / submits to directories, etc.

It's free and it's pretty accurate.

Totally unrelated, I like the app that turns my iPhone into a lightsabre. I've had many phony duels with it already.........hey, it's 7:04 am over here and I haven't had my coffee yet.......

I bought my first iPhone last Feb. and LOVE it! I really had no idea all that an iPhone could do and I'm so glad I bought it.

I asked the same question here a few months ago and in those months, here are the business apps I've found to be useful:

      1. Facebook

      2. FaceMic -- allows you to post audio to your Facebook profile and pages

      3. Twitterrific

      4. TweetDeck -- still haven't decided which app I prefer

      5. TweetMic -- allows you to post audio to your Twitter profile

      6. Pingle -- allows you to post one update to all of your social media accounts through your Ping.fm account

      7. Yellow Pages

      8. Google

      9. Dictionary.com

      10. Amazon.com

      11. Barnes & Noble.com

      12. FourSquare -- I actually haven't used this social media tool yet, but I intend to learn

      13. WordPress -- allows you to make blog updates on the go

      14. Dragon Dictation -- of Dragon Naturally Speaking fame

      15. GoodReader Lite -- allows you to read PDF documents on your iPhone

      16. eBay

      17. Cinch -- a BlogTalkRadio app

      18. Amazon's Kindle app

      19. PayPal

      20. Free RSS

      21. Expedia -- I use Expedia almost exclusively to book my trips. I loved how to app held all of the flight info for my trip to TX last month

      22. UPS

      22. FedEx

      23. OneBox -- this is One Box's free app if you use their voicemail/conferencing service.

Of course, I have other, non-business apps, but these are the business-related ones I have. Most were free. FaceMic and TweetMic were $1.99.

Along withe the ability to get online and check my e-mail, I find these to be incredibly helpful for tracking trips and packages, my social media accounts, looking stuff up (Google, YellowPages, etc.), doing blog posts and radio shows on the go, etc.

I can actually almost run my entire business off of my iPhone in a pinch. Very nice for when I can't even get on my laptop!

      Hope this helps!

Hey! Thanks all for the great app suggestions. I already use Dragon Naturally Speaking on my pc and I bet that will be one of my favorite apps. I think I am going to wait till the June 7th Keynote by Steve Jobs to see if the new Iphone is being released.

I've done it using the Safari browser, not sure if there's an app for this yet. I'm all ears though.......
