Buying Traffic to Get Started

I'm just starting out, and was curious if buying a small amount of traffic was a good thing to do to get things rolling.

Any info appreciated

If you got money to burn do it.

Do your homework before you buy traffic. I prefer free traffic.

Are you talking about those 10,000 visitors for $10 kind of traffic?

If yes, then I'd tell you to not even think about it. Most of the times it's just bots and not real people visiting your site and even if you get real people they don't buy or opt-in or anything.

I wouldn't wast too much money on traffic at first. there are a lot of free traffic source's
you should try. Like traffic exchanges you can join for free. they take sometime to get the ball rolling but if you are vigilant there are worth it.

If your talking about PPC, then yes. But, do not go in blind or you risk the chance of losing your shirt, or worse, your house!

If you know what to do with your list thats ok but if not you better start with free methods besides all these traffics are not even valid most of the time they are spam though if I were you I'll keep that $10.

Do all of the standardized stuff first... keyword research, SEO, backlinking, article writing and the like. Avoid PPC altogether if you are just starting out.

The operative word is patience... not jumpstart. If there is one arena where patience is a virtue, it's IM.

You are making this work at home stuff way harder than it is. Ready for some sanity? Clear your head and start over.

I like to buy traffic while I test conversions and optimize then build on free and affiliate methods.

Depends on what kind of traffic?

Starting out, its probably not the best choice to buy some traffic unless it's ppc. You can experiment using FREE vouchers. Just google whatever ppc program and add vouchers or promo code at the end of it. Or u can probably find some in this forum.

Just be careful, without any ppc experience its easy to lose money really quickly.

    good luck!
