Alternative ways to make money with PLR.. Can you add?

Lets see if we can come up with some alternatoive ways to use PLR..

Heres mine:

Break a small report up in a long email training folloe up sequence. use this to promote a similar product. Good value so subscribers will be very responsive.

Right who of you can add some other ways?

    Rewrite them and use as original contents on website/blog or article directories to drive traffic to your offerings.

    another thing to consider, would be to compile the good quality contents from a list of PLR products within the same niche, then either create a brand new product, or use it and start your own continuity site.

    The thing about PLR, is that as of date, there is no one solid course/program that teaches people how to fully (and profitably) utilize the power of PLR. It's not as simple as buy, download, and sell. Unfortunately, alot of PLR sellers tend to mislead their customers by posing their PLR opportunities as complete businesses in a box.

      That's not exactly true. There are several marketers here that teach how to use PLR.


      To add to the list:
      Rewrite the PLR, add it to a blog as content, and flip it.

      Add the PLR to a blog that you've set up with phpBay (eBay) or phpZon (Amazon) plugins to show real-time auctions, and you get a piece of the profits.

      Use the PLR to help you with a webinar or a Q&A interview, or to answer Yahoo Answers.

      Use it as a bonus.

    Most people buy a PLR product, use the EXACT same sales letter and content, then try and sell it.

    They're doing what everyone else is doing, so people will have probably seen the product before.

    You need to make it unique to stand out from the rest.

    One Warrior made a great suggestion t break up the ebooks of PLR's and post them to your blog, minisites, etc. You can garner interest from your readers by doing this then lead them to the actual ebook. Most PLR ebooks are not presented as either articles or posts so the content is unique.

    Rewrite it .... add a $7 script or RAP.

    Sell it and let the buyers know they can make their money back and at the same time build you a list of buyers.

    Earn money, recruit affiliates and build a list of people proven to spend money.

      Check it through properly yourself and add chapters where you think tyhere is something lacking. Remove chapters/sections you don't agree with, or that have become redundant.

      Rebrand it with your own graphics, title etc...

      Read the PLR/Ebook out loud and record it - or get someone to do it for you. Now you have an audio upsell.

      Do what the report tells you to do and record your actions on Camtasia. There's your video upsell, an "over the shoulder" video training.

      Here's the formula:

      1) Take a random free or $1 PLR product.
      2) rewrite it a bit (but you don't have to). Or hire someone who does it for $10
      3) Create "new" product. Name MUST (i repeat: MUST) have any of the following words in it:
      Massacre, Sniper, Ultimatum, Loophole <-- any of it will do.
      4) Say that product will make a gazillion dollars on autopilot and it'll do other magical things like grow your hair back, get free clicks on adwords, stuff like that. Say its a new, never before seen secret method.
      5) The higher the price - the more affiliates will echo your claims! Therefore make it $1997.
      6) ?
      7) Profit!

    Here are a few additional ways...

    - Convert to a physical product (real paper, binders, CDs, etc.)

    - Change the format (convert to an audio, video, or hybrid product)

    - Combine with other PLR products to form a package

    - Sell chapters as special reports

    - Target a different market ("SEO for Internet Marketers" becomes "SEO for Realtors")

    1. Extract some e-book break the content into articles and post it to our blogs,
    2. Create an e-course for your blog readers
    3. Turn it into mini reports and give away for free.
    4. Join a giveaway events to build a list and give your best PLR products.
    4. Bundle it into one package, and create a firesale
    6. Use it as a bonus for your products

    I have been recently taking some of the PLR that I have and breaking it up into blog posts. There are so many things to do with PLR. I am going to convert some of the ebooks that I have into audio courses and update the information for todays market.

    Probably the best book I ever read on how to use PLR effectively was PLR Voodoo. With so many avenues to use PLR, it has become the lifeblood of a lot of Internet Marketers. Trying to create products, expand content, create content is alot easier when you can get inspiration from PLR ebooks, articles, etc.

    I am actually expanding my terriroty and gathering as many PLR products as possible and then categorizing them eventually into a PLR Directory (work in progress) But know that he who has the content has the possiblity of earning the cash.

    My ideas to make the PLR content unique:

    If you are planning to sell the product you want to ensure to completely rewrite the product's content including sales page, title, etc. Create new graphics for the product's cover, sales page, and replace any images within the content itself. Add additional value to the product by adding video, audio, pre fabbed newsletter or ezine content, work sheets, etc.

    If you are reselling the product with PLR you should limit the amount of copies available. This ensures the market does not become over saturated with the product.

    1. Break up a bundle or 2 and create daily tips for your email list.
    2. Use PLR as ideas and research for your blog.
    3. Use the articles as research for a podcast.
    4. Turn several bundles into an ebook, or use the information to create an ecourse
    5. Use it to create a newsletter, and entice new subscriptions.
