I have a SEO client who publishes a print magazine. He wants to publish digital editions that he can host on his site and email to subscribers. I have looked and there are a lot of SAAS providers for this but they're fairly expensive considering he publishes 50+ editions per year. I've found a couple software options ranging from $300-$1800 but would appreciate any recommendations.

  • The last time I looked into this I couldn't find the app to do it just people wanting to sell me the hosting and conversion as an all in one solution.

    I would be interested to see what apps you refer to and if they allow you to host your own mags.

      flip books.

      Costs about $40.

      You have to make all the pages as graphics first so you'd
      have to turn your PDF pages into .jpg files or something.

    • I'm using pressmo.com, it is cheap - $33 per publication ($16 for bigger orders). By default you host the result (no external linking to issue, zmags etc.), so you pay only once
