EzineArticles.com and Scripts?

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I developed a program where the user copies the URL of a particular article from ezinearticles.com and pastes it into a program and the program puts the article into a webpage.

I didn't think it would have been a problem but then I came across this from ezinearticles.com...

"You agree to never use article crawlers, rogue bots, site scrapers or any automated script/software or method that attempts to mine the article content on EzineArticles.com. You acknowledge that we may block your access to our site and/or membership."

Now does my program go against that?

(crosses his fingers)

  • Hi Adam,

I'd contact support over at EZA to be safe.

They are the ones that know what they will accept.

Sorry, but it's the only way to get a direct answer to your question.

    • It is done but it is most likely against TOS for ezinearticles. Think about it, these sites have TOS that states that you can only have a certain number of articles on your site pulled from them. Why would they agree to a program that automates this?
