How to use headlines to supercharge your clickthrough rates
I had kind of a lame headline for one of my tweets - it was something like "using keyword research helps press releases get better placement."
Yawn.
It got four clicks.
So I just rewrote the headline to "How To Use Keyword Research To Blast Your Press Release To the Top Of The Search Engines" and now people are retweeting it all over the place.
The Copyblogger genius has written the best series on headline writing I've ever seen - read all of them and watch your clickthrough rate soar, like mine did! It's made a huge difference in my success over the last few years.

Update - I went from getting four clicks when I originally posted the blah headline which didn't explain the benefits to the Twitter clicker...to 89 clicks from Twitter today!!!
From 4 to 89....that's quite a percentage increase. Anyone with math skillz care to tell us how much? Anyway - I rest my case - learn how to write strong headlines!
And if you click on that Copyblogger link I posted in the above post...the last article tells how to write effective Twitter headlines.
