To Spin, or not to Spin...

Okay, so I got my hands on a few thousands plr articles that I can use... but I'm a little confused.. big surprise, I know...

Can I submit these directly to the article directories after adding some links? Or is it better to spin them first, then submit them. And do I have to have them on my website, or can I submit the directly to the directories without posting them somewhere else first? Does that make sense?

Just curious, thanks...

Oh, and thanks alot for all the advice regarding coaching... feeling much more confident now... hehe..

Spin, Spin and then Spin again, otherwise you'll be doing what every other lazy person who bought PLR. Publishing the same stuff they did.

Spin them, but do it manually with syntax. Otherwise it'll be garbage.

I agree and suggest The Best Spinner. It is the most powerful I've come across.

I second, or third LOL, that! I like JetSpinner because it's free and it has the 'human dictionary' just like Best Spinner which costs.

I could not agree more. But make sure you spin, spin, spin naturally. AS in yourself!!! A spinner will only give you garbage.

I hate spinners, and crappy spun articles. It takes me longer to write all the syntax and synonyms than it does to write your own unique article. And I always end up with poor results. But if you looking to get a few backlinks and a few clicks. It works, I have done it myself.

              Anyways its just my thought...

Well I really like 'The Best Spinner'. You can write a couple of new paragraphs for each paragraph. Highlight the paragraph and the software will pick out each sentence for you to rewrite. Then tab along to each word or phrase and it's just a matter of clicking on the alternatives or adding your own.

I usually end up with about 90% unique articles. Maybe I overspin but at least I can always go back to the spun article and know I can make fresh articles from it if I need a new version.

If you spin the article more than 4-6 times the articles that you get by using this method wont be 90% unique. Not even close.

Go to Dupecop and compare any 4 of your spun articles (you should add 5 to 10 percent to their values because that tool sometimes under-estimates the uniqueness a bit - it depends on how you interpret uniqueness).

You can mix up the html code as well.

You can add pictures to some and not to others. For example one has a certain picture up the top on the left, another has a different picture half way down on the right, or no pic at all.

Add a table or a list to some versions and not to others. Spin the list as well of course.

Spin some text to make it bold/italics in some articles.

                        Vary the number of sentences you use, and the number of paragraphs. You can do it like this {This will not appear in all articles|}

Anyway, that's just a few ways. I'm sure there are more.

                  Exactly.

I always manually spin all my articles.

Takes me 3-3.5 hours/article, BUT all of my articles read perfectly and are at least 60% unique when compared to every other article in the same batch (and I'm talking 40-60 articles for every spintax article I write).

A good thing about this approach is that all of my articles get indexed by Google. And they get accepted to Ezine (ha ha).

I could not manually write 40-60 350-450 word articles in 3 hours.

                  Here's how you do it:

                  1. Create 3-5 versions of every paragraph (2-6 sentences long).
                  2. Spin the number of paragraphs.
                  3. Create 2-3 versions of every sentence in each paragraph.
                  4. Spin every word/phrase in each sentence (2-4 times).
                  5. Make sure that your paragraphs vary in length.
                  6. Make sure your articles are at least 350 words long.

I use the best spinner, but only because it's now become a habit for me. After you've written some 20-30 articles in this way you can pretty much write them without ever needing a synonym list/database.

Well if you submit to EZA, remember to make your title as vague as possible, don't mention celebrities(???), don't link anywhere except with "click here".....

other than that, they love spun content. I've read tons of crap there that got through so you should be fine.

On the serious side, spinning is great if you want your own content and want to get readers.

    Spin it!

It really does depend on it's usage as there are alot of directory's that will accept crappy spun content if your spinning on a mass scale! But then your traffic is lower as a result.

You have to weigh up the pro's and con's i suppose which i why i don't really like huge packets of PLR but that's just me.

And as people said before the best spinner is a good option especially if your spinning alot of articles.

I've learned my lesson with Ezine... I only post stuff that I've written myself up there, everything else, gets' spun then submitted via submission software to other sites.... But for best results, a new spun version for every submission site. Makes me dizzy...

If you can do the spinning yourself then it'd be better. Spinning software sucks sometimes and they dont exactly get the uniqueness that you want for the article sought to be submitted to EZA.

Why not write some articles yourself rather than re-hash someone elses efforts? Spinning takes longer than writing in my opinion.

I vote re-writing the PLR articles yourself or just writing entirely new content on your own. I use PLR mostly to get ideas for articles - I'll read a few on a particular topic, and then write my own unique article based on what I've read. It takes me forever to set up the spin syntax so that the resulting articles sound anything close to natural!

But then again, I rarely submit to more than a few article directories, so I don't need a whole batch of slightly similar articles. If you plan to submit to tons of places, then it might be worth getting good at spinning PLR.

As long as you do it yourself, SPIN AWAY... If you are not going to do it yourself then hire a REAL human spinner/writer/re-writer. It has been proven over and over and over again that software just do not live up to the capacity of a human brain. Software can not think, analyze, or place a sentence in context.

Research and write your own content. Even poor writers can usually bang out somehting better and more creative that just rewording the same old garbage. Even if the grammar is not perfect it will have your "voice" and sincerity.

Spun articles work, but lack the personal, personality touch of writing your own articles. Having fussed with PLRs and spinners I prefer just to keep actually gaining in knowledge and sharing that knowledge in articles and email. Most of the traffic I get comes from only 5 or 6 major ezines anyway.
