I agree...sometimes sites make it almost impossible to find the page. I think that some people "hide" them to prevent people from making commission on a product they purchased themselves.

Right now, I'm trying to find the affiliate page for Market Samurai. I Google it and find forums saying it's not available yet (but that was 2009). I find their page where you log IN as an affiliate, and a page where you get affiliate details but no application page that they mention (but don't hyperlink to).

Anyone happen to know offhand where I can sign up? What a time waster....

yes and I read that you have to own it to promote it - so I was sure to do that first but still didn't get any affiliate application instructions

Kinda, sorta Tiffany, but there are obvious reasons why
some vendors simply don't want people to be able to
find their affiliate program.

It's why some folks have closed door , invite only JV
programs.

It protects them from folks just using the aff link for a
discount and protects their affiliates from losing sales.

Mostly I find the link at the bottom of the page. I used to search via google if I couldn't find it there ' Product +affiliate' but just found I was getting other affiliates promoting the product.

Now I just contact them direct, via their contact page and ask for their affiliate program. Sometimes they do have the 'closed door' by 'special invite' only approach.

I have the same problem from time to time and occasionally it's because it's run with RAP or the $7 secrets script which is great but a pain to find.

Have to concur on that one. I was led to believe that Market Samurai didn't have an affiliate program!

Normally you can guess the affiliate page.

If it is a RAP-based product, then the affilaite page will usually be the domain plus affiliates.php
