Hi:

I hope someone can explain what is happening. I am trying to enter internet marketing, bum marketing in particular.

I built a site with SiteBuilder hosted by WebhostGiant. I had trouble publishing but now they tell me the site is "published."

Here is the problem. If I type the URL into Google box, I get that Google has never heard of it. Now if I click the URL on their e-mail, it goes directly to the website. If I write or cut and paste, Google never heard of it.

I e-mailed the company and they replied that they tried it in their office as well as in a shell in Washington. It worked every time.

But I have to click on the e-mail. If I want to drive traffic to the site with articles, will anyone be able to get to the site?

    The site may be up, but if it is new it may not have been ranked by the Search Engines yet.

    Try adding your URL to Google manually.

    It takes time for google to index sites.

    WOW Jimmy! That site is extremely difficult to read! The font, the bold lettering etc. You may want to review your choice of those items to make it more "user" friendly!

    The url itself comes up but as Hamish suggested you need to manually list it with Google. sites are not indexed the moment they go up.

    Yeah, it takes time for Google to index sites. It shouldn't take too long, but it doesn't get indexed the same day it gets published. It will get indexed eventually.

    If you know how to edit your website, I'd also make it more reader friendly like chuck suggested.
