What Would You Do? Contest Loophole!

Okay so I'm in an online contest. Just re-read the rules and something jumped out at me...a loophole. Now I don't (*think*) I have an ethical dilemma with it because I wouldn't be breaking any rules.

It's just something that would tick me off if others did and I didn't think of it! But it would probably piss off a lot of people if I won that way... Then again doing it doesn't necessarily guarantee a win!

Do I take the chance that I'm the only one that saw it and just forget it and go on like I am? Or do I use it to my advantage?

What would you do, Warriors?!?

Send a message to the contest host. Explain and measure their reaction. Is this a "popularity" contest or is it measured against some achievement/task?

Love it! I didn't think of that and appreciate it. Thanks! Its not popularity based, there is a definite action needed to win.

Tim Ferris went on to become a gold medal wrestling champ because he found a "loophole" in the system. Instead of using technical skill to beat his opponents in wrestling, all he had to do was push them off the mat 3 times in a round and he would win. He changed the entire sport by using this strategy. It wasn't against the rules, it was just playing smart instead of playing hard.

      Food for thought...

Ahhh you are correct and they all hated him, but he won fair and square. I think I've found my answer.

That was kick boxing, not wrestling.

      Contact the host? Uh, no.

If you're not breaking any rules, it's fair game.

The rules are there for everyone to read, right?

As long as you're not doing anything against the rules, use anything you can to your own advantage.

Are you in it to win it? Or not?
