Help with list building

Hey guys... I'm hoping one of you can help me.

I'm trying to learn the details of building a list from zero to the first 1000 subscribers. and, I really want to learn from a marketer who's recently done it from scratch.

If you'd be willing to share how you did it and maybe answer about a half-a-dozen follow up questions, please post here or private message me.

    Its just a case of providing something of value (report, video, course etc) to the people you are targeting so that they will in turn give you their email address to get it. A squeeze page usually works best and then you have to send traffic to it. The fastest way to do this is still to buy the traffic, be it from PPC, CPA or Ezine Ads etc

    What exactly are you having trouble with?

    Don't just focus on numbers, although I understand you have to when you're just starting. But right from the outset, resolve to treat the list members like gold. That's how you really kick butt with a list - not the size of it. I bet my relatively small main list converts and makes me more money than a lot of lists out there that are 10X bigger. Just a thought about what to do with the list once you get that first 1000.

    1. If your going for a Mass Market General Interest Product(i.e. Weight Loss), create a free give away, an Optin Page and buy traffic. Don't waste your time with SEO. Once you have about 500 subscribers, do an ad swap with other people in your niche. Create your own or participate in a Free Give Away Event. Keep doing this and you will be on your way.

    2. Create a product----->Get Affiliates------>Build your list------>Do an Ad Swap.

    3. Create a high end product------->Get JV Partners-------->Do a Product Launch--------->Now You have a list.

    I just gave you a free $997 course outline of a successful process.

    By the way. Go Big. Don't bother with building a small list.

    Auto responder works well for list building but best way utilize your aweber account you may want to consider using opt in box linked to your auto responder and start writing articles and submit them to ezine and other sites but don't forget to create you resource box content that back link to your site! It works best if you have some content to give away for subscribers. If you can create squeeze page for opt in box thats even better.
    About getting good deal from aweber i think they let you use first month for free.

    You will need to create an opt-in page where visitors can leave their names in exchange for your free information.

    Where you position your opt-in matters as well as the traffic your website is receiving.

    Getresponse delivers email well, you might want to try it.
