a little help please?

Warriors - got 2 questions...

1) How do I BAN someone from buying something from me thru Paypal? i have looked everywhere and can't find a setting that will let me set up a "blacklist".

2) I continue to have a recurring php redirect infection in a couple of WP blogs I have. Each time it recurs, I just clean the php files (the only place the infection is appearing) and reupload them and it's fine - for a few days anyway - and then it come back.

It is happening so frequently now that I just have backups of the php files on my desktop and when I see it I just reupload and overwrite the php files.

I have cleaned my computer twice and there's nothing on it so I am beginning to think it's due to the shared server hosting I have.

Any thoughts on this one?

    If the PayPal links are on site that can have IP filtering/blocking at the ISP level, you might want to go that route. Otherwise, my suggestion would be to contact PayPal. I have had very good luck with them on a wide number of issues, and they take safety and security VERY seriously. I think you will find them more than helpful if the ISP route does not work.

    As for the infected files on the server - have you contacted the hosting provider and asked then to do a security audit?

    Have you changed all of your passwords on the server - ftp and control panel?

    Is it a plug-in that is getting infected? Or a core wordpress file?

    If its a plug in - remove it.

    If its a core wordpress file, I would take a look at the security of the server. Have you looked for reviews of your host to see if other people are having the same problem?
