GoDaddy Domain Appraisals.

How accurate are they? Go Daddy charges close to $15 per domain name for appraisals, and if you go ahead and list a domain in the premium listings section they offer recommend prices which are often far below what your domain may actually be worth. For example you may have a domain that's worth over $1,000 but they may suggest that you sell it for between $100 and $500.

There is no such thing as an accurate domain appraisal. A domain name is worth what a buyer is willing to pay. Get 10 different appraisals and you'll get 10 completely different figures. I have sold domain names for tens of thousands of dollars that others have told me were worth barely over registration fee. I have been a full time domainer for many years and have never once purchased an appraisal, because there simply is no way to measure what a potential buyer thinks it's worth to them.

If you want to get an idea about what you should sell your domain for, go to dnsaleprice.com to do a comparison with other domains that have sold in the past.

Exactomundo! Any domain isn't worth of sh** until someone pays you.. Unless of course you get business.com or something like that..

I totally agree. A domain is worth what the buyer is willing to offer. A couple of years ago, I got an offer for $3,000 for a domain name and later I sold the entire website for $1,000.

I'm looking to sell few domains which I believe worth fairly good. In fact my domains were once captured by someone when 1 of those expired, later I got it back in 2 years time.
