Finding Authorites In Your Niche Can Be A Scary Step, But THIS Is Why You Do It...

Alright so in my most recent campaign on tiredness and getting more energy, I decided to finally heed the advice that I should be looking for other ways to syndicate my content than just submitting to article directories blah blah blah.

So one day I noticed I got a couple visitors from a health blog... a big health blog. I followed the link and found that someone had taken my article and placed it on their site (with my resource box intact). I contacted the person who runs the blog, turns out that site gets 40,000+ visitors per month and the owner really liked my article. So now I'm getting to pick 1-2 of my best articles each week and give them to her to post, with links pointing back to my site.

Awesome! I'm getting high-quality backlinks from an authority site AND free exposure on that authority site as well. And for the site owner, it's free, high-quality content.

Just take a dive you guys, and go for it! I had to leave a blog comment with my email in there to make this happen, so just do whatever you have to to get the attention of people who matter... And don't worry, the people who matter are mean and they usually actually do have time to work something out with you.

Your Assignment: Find a site in your general niche, ask yo be a guest writer. Do it today and check it off.... GO GO!

    Thanks for that Brandon.

I have a content niche site which promotes a certain children's toy.

I noticed that the actual owner of the product has used my article on their blog and it has driven some traffic to my site thru the link in the resource box.

I'm gonna try to contact them right now.

    Will post back with outcome.

I and my members write at least one new article for the site per week. No one really bites. I tweet them but they just seem to sit there.

Well where all are they submitted? Writing ONE article per week is hardly enough... I only started gathering much attention after submitting multiple articles per day all over the place after being indexed on my site. (Although you may practice a different business model so this isn't a big deal).
