WordPress - Update 50 Plug-Ins with one click?

Need help!!

This is getting way out of hands: 50 new sites using Wordpress and everytime I need to update 1 plugin of those basic ones, it's a mess.

It takes ages!!!

I need a system to update all of them at once WHILE keeping the integrity of the sites.

I don't need a system that opens security breaches BUT I really do need a system to help me over here.

Wordpress MU? A PlugIn?

Ideas?

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

I dunno what version of Wordpress you're using, but in V2.9.x there's a link under the Tools menu called "Upgrade" that shows all of the plugins that have updates posted. You check the box at the top that does a "check all", scroll down, and click the "Upgrade Now" button.

    That's it.

If WP itself has been updated, you should upgrade it FIRST. That's because if the plugin owners haven't made their plugins ready for that updated version of WP, they won't show up as having an update available yet! WHOA!

I've encountered a few plugins where the authors don't make them compatible with the upgrade process, or for whatever reason they cannot be updated automatically. In those cases, you need to do it the old manual way. But those are few and far between.

Except that the OP has a very misleading title

It is not 50 plugins on one WP install - it is ONE plugin on 50 WP installs...

        Ahh, my mistake.

Well ... if they're all addon domains under the same main domain, it's pretty simple.

Otherwise ... anybody know of an FTP bulk uploader for something like this?
