Clickbank product creation

Hi everyone- first post here.

I'm a sports medicine and health care professional, not an internet marketer.

But my goal is to reverse the roles and join your team.

So, for starters, I want to create an info-product, to allow me to leverage my knowledge into something digital and 'hands-off.'

I'm pretty knowledgeable on all aspects of back pain relief, sports med, advanced core strengthening, bodyweight exercising, and more.

I thought I'd create a Clickbank product start-to-finish.

Are there any resources that you all can steer me towards to help me figure out how to create the CB product so it goes from idea to a tangible up and running offering?

Any better ideas of where to start?

Thank you!!

Sounds like you should start writing (or have someone write for you *hint hint*)
an ebook on your different subjects.

    Relief of back pain
    Sports meds
    Workouts

Are all great niches to get into, pretty competitive but if you offer a good product that has value and helps solve problems you can get it out there.

Once you have your books written you need a sales page for each seperate one (again something you can do or have done for you)

From there i'd say you could have an opt in section on your sales page and offer them a small report for free.

That report should entise them to get a bigger better book for a little money.

once all this is setup just submit your stuff to clickbank

Are you suggesting that I create multiple courses/books? Is the opt-in report I offer for free a small version of the main course I would create... a teaser?

    Just start writting!
If you can write about such a hot topic, just do it.
Once your product is done, if you are not an internet marketer, you can just outsource the design of the sales page and even the promotion part. Then, let the affiliates sell the product for you.

Thank you Wechito. I guess I'm making it bigger than it has to be, thanks for helping me see the simplicity.

Hi Dr. R, welcome aboard. You are perfect for creating you're own unique product. With the expertise you have in your field your product could well be in demand. So how do you go about it? If you don't get things right Click Bank won't agree to sell your product. What you need is someone who has been there, got a number of best selling products on Click Bank. There is a guy called John Thornhill and he has helped me so much with my Internet Marketing. He's a great guy, very approachable and helpful and I think he's the best at creating click bank products. If you contact me I'll send you a link to his product called, Profit From PLR.

Here's is what I sugest you do. Watch the short video, sign up for the FREE ecourse and only if you feel the product is right for you then you can purchase it. For what you want to do I think this is ideal, check it out and good luck.

I'm very appreciative of you guys taking the time to respond.

      It means a lot.

This is a bit daunting, but from what I'm reading, most are saying 'start writing.'

So is the product I should be creating just written material?

I was thinking I had to get into big time video production and spend a ton of $$.

      NO?

I have info on core strengthening (especially for golf) that only a handful of people people are up on, pretty cutting edge stuff... and the 'market' hasn't been exposed to it, just my patients and some of the tour and elite players. Should I start there? Or the back pain relief stuff... just written?

So if I'm understanding you all correctly, I should just write and "show and tell" and this will be 'my ClickBank product?"
I don't have to do videos?

Anyway, thanks again Colin, I would like to take your advice and meet your contact, how do I contact you here? (Sorry newbie) I'm barely figuring out how to copy the responses and reply to multiple answers.

Write a sales page that describes a killer product. Make it as exciting and informative as you possibly can. Fill it with features and benefits. Write out your bullet points. Get inside your prospect's head and deliver what they want most. Carry a notebook or recorder with you for a few days and capture all your ideas. Take your time with it.

Once you have a great sales page (or a great outline for one) use that material to write your book or course. It'll be easy. Just make the product as exciting as the sales copy. Good luck.

      Thank you sir.

So, again, I'm hearing that my CB product will be a book?

What about the affiliate tools, auto responder,s list building stuff, that all has to be created as well, correct? Do I have to have all that to launch my product?

You don't necessarily have to start right away with Clickbank. Many marketers find some initial success selling PLR products and then gradually move towards selling their own products ultimately landing on Clickbank.

For what it's worth, I've been doing this for over 5 years and this year (2010) was the first year I put any products up on Clickbank. I now have 3 and even after they are up on Clickbank there is still work to be done in attracting affiliates to promote your products - It's not as easy as it sounds even if you have quality products.

I'm not trying to discourage you but want to make sure you are aware of the work involved.

Also, to answer you original question. Tiffany Dow has an ebook called "Building an Ebook Empire" which you migth consider checking out.

Lee McIntyre also has some great stuff you should check out.

    Respectfully,

Your experience within the actual niche is very key here and could ultimately create you a very successful product if done correctly; I am just getting into the whole 'Product Creation' scene looking at producing a series of Ebooks so the book writing for me is the first step. The resources provided all around this forum will assist you in more ways than you can imagine in terms of how to approach ebook design, creation etc.

    Goodluck
